Perfect fit and super easy install. All you have to do is remove the tape covering and stick it on! Contrary to a few reviews on here it DID NOT cover my vin.

I've gotta admit, this tray has come in quite handy since I got it. It went on easy, and is staying in place. The fit is almost perfect. I say almost, because there's a 1/16 inch gap that appears i the front and a little along the sides, but it's barely noticeable. It's great to be able to toss A phone, A tool, a pocketknife, some guitar picks, or whatever is in my hand up there for quick access, without it sliding all over the dash when the jeep is moving. That's something that hardly any car has, and I dig it! I have a 2008 JKU, and this tray sits up there, boxy, but low profile, so it kinds fits in with everything else in the interior. I pointed it out to some friends, and they were like "you mean that wasn't there before?" - so, while it isn't the exact same surface as the dash, it's close enough i color and vibe that no one but me knows. I also got a plastic pocket that sits between the gearshift console and the passenger seat that fills that gap, and it's great, so between the two products, it's a great improvement in storage.

This fits my 2008 JKU perfectly and provides an excellent place to keep reading glasses, sunglasses and ducks. It comes with an extra supply of two sided tape. I haven't even used the initial tape to fasten the tray down; it fits so well I haven't needed to yet. I imagine if I go on a trail I will fasten it down first, but for daily driving, it fits so well, it stays put via gravity. This is my favorite mod so far.

It’s the tray you never knew you needed until you got it! Such a convenient place to store stuff.

I love this extra accessory because I either have to leave my phone in my lap, put it in the cup holders, or lay it in between the 4WD/change holder. It makes it super convenient and looks great!

The tape is no where close to what it needs to be to properly secure this tray to the dashboard. I had to use my own Command Adhesive strips to make this work. It leaves quite a gap between the tray and the dash, so I imagine it will get a bit dirty under there over time. Decent product for the price, but I'd suggest you don't bother with the tape and just use something more reliable that works.
