Coastal Pet Fashion Cat Collar Adjustable 8-Inch to 12-Inch, Breakaway Buckle, with Bell, Daisy Blue.

I purchased this collar in 2017. It eventually wore out. I bought this collar again this year assuming it was the same great collar I purchased before. It is not. This is NOT a buckle clasp breakaway collar. The fastener has changed. It is not the same Pet Safe collars I’ve had for all my cats for years. I am concerned that this collar will not breakaway since I have to use quite some force to pull it apart just to remove it from my cat in the evenings. It is also a pain to clasp as well. There is a bump on one part that is supposed to slide into the other part of the fastener for it to close. It can take multiple times for me to get this collar to fasten. In short, I would not buy this collar again & suggest that you purchase a collar from a local store so you can see that it is an actual buckle clasp breakaway collar.UPDATE: The clasp broke on this collar about a month after I bought it. Can’t give this no stars, but if I could I would.

I've used these collars for decades. They are wonderful! I did find that over time one of them didn't release. I cut it off and examined it. The problem was over time it had gotten dirty so stuck. If you take it off and clean it periodically it shouldn't be an issue. None of my others have ever had a problem. My Mom's rescue cat had never worn a collar and kept scratching at it causing it to readjust. I just put a large stitch at two different points where there was overlap, keeping the knots between the layers. Problem solved. She's gotten used to the collar and the daisy design is beautiful; with her fur and eyes. (She's Siamese)

This is a pretty, but cheap collar. There is no anchor loop to hold an ID tag which is the primary purpose of a collar. The bracket for the bell is not sturdy enough for an ID tag-- the metal isn't solid, there is a gap. The plastic buckle and slide feel cheap. I don't expect this collar to last long. Too bad, as it's really pretty and goes well with my orange kitty. I won't buy this brand again. (I should have returned it but I had already torn off the bell before I realized how cheap it was.)

This is the cutest little cat collar and it looks great on my cat. This collar isn’t bulky, it doesn’t seem to bother my cat. The bell is nice and NOT obnoxiously loud! The other thing I like is that it has a break away fastner that works.

I have a SKINNY 6 lb Chihuahua... I thought a cat collar might fit him as well as any puppy collar (plus come with a cute little bell). This collar fit him perfectly and is a comfortable (some collars can be very rough and sand-paperish). I only wish there were more patterns from which to choose so I could purchase more for my spoiled fur baby!

I bought this collar for my kitten about 6 months ago. Recently I noticed that it has tightened around her neck and the outer layer on the collar was sticking out. The plastic piece on the collar cracked. It does not simply pop open when it is tight or if she would get stuck on something. Her tags also fell off of the metal ring. This collar is not safe for an active cat.

I absolutely love this cat collar for my cat. I like it because its nylon.

This is a very cute collar. Looks nice on my cat and it has a breakaway feature which is what I look for in collars. The little bell is blue too.
