heavy duty torch
important - remember to remove the stickers from the back end of the batteries or it wont turn on when it isn't plugged in with the usb cable.great torch, lots of functions, super bright and super chunky and not plastic.

Outshines The Competition
Excellent flashlight. About the size of a coke can. Did everything I wanted and then some.Highly recommend.

Very bright, long lasting, gets hot
Bought this mostly on a whim, but it came in very handy when I had to help look around a historical underground area for renovation.It was brighter than all the other torches, to the point that I could just point it at the ceiling of a large room and the reflected light would be enough to see everything by.We were down there for about 2 hours and the built in battery level monitor was still reporting 4.1V (ie full) at the end.Additionally, there are over a dozen different modes, all but one of which have a sensible use (the exception is explicitly mentioned in the manual to be for annoying your friends).Only downside is that at higher brightness levels, it gets very toasty. Never to the point you'll get burnt, and it has a configurable max temperature at which it will start to turn itself down, but enough that it's uncomfortable to hold near the front.

Amazingly bright
Lots of torches promise ultra-bright but this one really delivers.Will light up a massive area of dark countryside.Good hand-held size and easy to carry in a winter coat pocket.Best of all, the main switch simply does on and off, no need to repeatedly press through different brightness modes when all you want to do is turn it off. Double press for turbo boost mega ultra bright mode.There are a load of button press combos you can do for other modes like flashing etc.Brightest torch I've ever seen and if you want a bright torch you won't be disappointed. Fully recommend without hesitation.
