Ouch!!!!
I am giving this to my elementary school aged niece because this is way too tight on my head. I am only 5'1" and have an average sized head, I think. This arrived today and it is entirely too tight. I ordered the pink one, if that helps.I have hair that is a little below my shoulders and there is no way that I would have attempted to even try to put it up into this cap. It most certainly would have torn.

Gives me a headache and doesn't work
After a couple hours' use, this cap had already failed and my hair got wet, plus it leaves marks on my forehead and gives me a headache from how tight it is. I assume all swim caps have these same problems so I have nothing against Speedo in particular, but this was a purchase I regret and would never recommend to anyone.

fragile in 4 months!
I just bought this in April and loved it from the start. However, it pulled apart today-not due to fingernails or any obvious penetration-just tore.

Snug Cap Does the Job
LOVE this cap. I have blonde hair and mostly use a swim cap to prevent my hair from turning green. It is VERY snug, but pretty comfortable. I wear a US hat size of 7.25 and until I adjust things, it looks like my face is being squished out of it when I first put it on. If you're looking for something that is completely waterproof, this is not it. I wear my hair short (think shaggy pixie cut) and it keeps the top half of my head dry. I don't think it would work for someone with long hair, as there's not much extra room in it. Easy to put on and take off--no problems with static or my hair getting snarled in it. Does its job well.

comfortable, stays on!
I have only had this for a week (swam twice with it). When I was ordering it, I was a little apprehensive because I had rubber/latex (?) speedo swim cap before this and HATED it, absolutely HATED it. It would really hurt to put on, then it would not stay on, and finally if it did manage to stay on for a lapse it would hurt again to remove. This one ahh is niceee. It came in a nicely packed plastic container, which I have been religiously using since then. It was really easy and hassel free to put on, and take off. It stayed put through out the swim session both times. I always wet my hair before putting these on, but if you primarily use this to keep your hair dry I don't know how it would function. Like I mentioned it does stay put and is good size, so I am guess it would be use to keep your hair dry as well.I haven't had it for long enough to comment on the quality of the product, but I am definitely happy with my purchase and would buy again if this one tore (hopefully it wont be for a while).

Unfortunate Waste of Money
I bought this product based on the glowing reviews but I have to say, I was extremely disappointed. I don't know who said that they stay on your head because it absolutely does not. I spent most of my workout adjusting the cap. It just wouldn't stay, no matter what I did. When I was done with my workout (and the frustration!) I saw one of the nearby instructors and fellow lap-swimmer. I asked her if maybe I was just doing something wrong. As soon as she discovered it was silicone she said that was why - she said silicone caps just don't stay on.Unfortunately now I have to go out and buy yet another cap. This is the most expensive swimcap I've ever owned!Only plus I've found, it's a pretty color. Does that even count?

Too tight
I couldn't wear it on my recent vacation. The cap is way too tight for my head and creates a lot of heat. I wouldn't recommended for someone in a Caribbean beach.

Speedo swim cap
I have a large head and long hair this cap is a little too tight, but still wearable. I learned that you must wet your hair at first before you put it on or air gets trapped under the cap. My hair still gets chlorine water on it especially in the back of my head where I put my hair in a bun. At least it's better than wearing no cap at all. I swim 4-6 days a week and chlorine is too damaging to my hair. It's kind of a hassle to put on each time and it really squishes my forehead.
