my sister and I love asian food, and have started cooking alot more, and found out she is "soy sensitive" and gets sick after eating... so she said, she just took preventative meds to ( eat anything with soy) THAT"S JUST CRAZY. she makes great lettuce wraps, and the fresh Thai rolls.... so I googled "soy free hoisin...." and found this...I had already been using coconut aminos soy sauce... not a significant diff in taste, especially since you incorporate so many other wonderful flavors in asian style..... so help your gut out if soy bothers you and try this, great taste.. and I think better for you

After trying a few other brands for a healthier alternative that were nothing like real hoisin, I was shocked at how good this one is. The consistency is thick as it should be, and excellent, rich flavor. Hard to believe it is also soy free. So good! Now, please make it available again!

Tastes great. Could not tell the difference in my recipe. Very expensive. One bottle I ordered the lid was no longer sealed but no returns allowed. That was disappointing.

It’s that perfect taste you’ve been looking for that gives food authentic Asian flavors without the soy. Wish it wasn’t so expensive but I love it and can’t find it at my local groceries anymore. This product is a regular staple we keep stocked for our family.

Good af. I’m a legit chef( I sound like a vegan or a PhD on twatter), but I really can cook almost anything well, and know A BIT. THIS stuff is great, I’d almost say a better alternative, and waaayyyyyy healthier. Emulsify a little butter in there, a little stock or something, scallions, etc. BEAUTIFUL SAUCE.

I bought 3 jars of this and every single jar had the protective seal off!!! This item must be refrigerated after opening so the product is no good to me!!!!! I want my money back and there’s no return option here!!! What a scam!!! DO NOT BUY!!!! I should have read the review. Absolutely ridiculous!

I bought this from Healthy Pantry. I have never tried to buy this item in a store, so I can't compare to that. But this item did not have any type of plastic seal around the lid to the jar, and the lid also did not have a "pop" button when opened. Since I had no way to know for sure whether this product had previously been opened or altered, I threw it away.

My husband took this out of the bubble wrap yesterday and put it in the fridge. He went to cook with it tonight and the lid was loose and there was a scoop taken out of it! GROSS!
