Great for elementary students . Bought set for my classroom

Our kids need new headphones often if I buy cheaper ones. These one are a GREAT price, but a trusted brand that also lasts. They're fairly sturdy. I only reduced the stars on "volume control" because there is no control for that other than the volume options on your separate device. However, I don't want my kids listening to things too loudly anyway, so this is fine by me. We favor these headphones, for sure.

Personally, I'm a little annoyed because the product listing distinctly says its BLUE and they sent me red. Fortunately my kid doesn't care. My two and a half year old son was so thrilled to have his own headphones and loves to wear these -- even if they're plugged into nothing. While I wish there were a volume lock on this product like on some other children's headphones, they feel durable and fit comfortably on his head. He should be able to use them for a long time as the head arc is expandable and he's on the smallest size position. The cord is good and long so he doesn't have to be right up against the screen.Overall, I'm very pleased with the purchase. (But they were supposed to be blue. Grr.)

I wanted these for my 5 year old daughter. I would've bought any old headphones, but I wanted them to be child sized and very comfortable. They were a bit bigger than I thought they'd be- they are not too small for me to wear(so they will never be too small for her as she grows and are adjustable), but they were not too big for her now either, so I'm very satisfied. They're of very good quality and very well padded and soft. The plastic part(the blue part) looks a little well, plastic(!) but not too bad. She has been wearing them every day since Christmas and loves the fact that they are made for children and look very much like her Papa's large ones. I wore them to test them out and they blocked out most ambiant noise, such as big brother's video game sounds and let her relax into private listening- in her case, the complete story of Pippi Longstocking!

Bought these headphones for my 3 1/2 yr old a month ago. He has used them with my ipod nano and his cassette player. They work perfect with the nano because he can't adjust the volume if I lock it. However, with his cassette player he can crank up the volume and there is NO SAFETY VOLUME CONTROL on the headphones. Thus, I have to be with him when he uses the cassette player or any other device that the volume can easily be adjusted, so he doesn't damage his hearing. Great for airplanes that are very noisy. Also got the Belkin headphone splitter so I could listen along to audiobooks and music with him. Supervision required with devices that have an accessible volume control!! Wish Califone would have mentioned this.

We got these headphones for our 2 year-old daughter's portable DVD player. We were traveling on an airplane and needed something to allow her to hear the movies without disturbing others. I was really skeptical that she would wear them at all, but she loves them! She wants to wear them all the time, even when she is watching movies at home where headphones aren't required! The headphones are small and fit snugly over her ears, but must not be uncomfortable because she has never complained. I love the one wire instead of two, we haven't had any tangling or snagging issues. They seem durable and the sound quality is fine. I would say these are a great purchase for the money!
