Quality seems sound.ProductThe packaging is very modern and nice. Not that there is great use but it gives a confidence the product will be good - box very applesque!The unit is a nice size, light enough, and fits the hand well. The buttons are well positioned for use (to my hands anyway). I find the screen not the easiest to read but adequate (better than nothing)UsageGiven there was a small amount each of pla and abs bundled I was straight off the mark when it arrived. Out of box, plug in and go (more or less)Take it out of box, plug in, choose pla/abs let it heat (quick in my mind but no other 3D pen device to compare to) feed in filament and go go go.You can adjust the speed of flow too which I found an added bonus.There is also a suction mount stand for your desk although I don't always use it where suction mount works.In use it has performed well, but I have noticed sometimes it slows up to an almost stop. Still trying to work out why. Will try and update in due course.My initial endevours were a fix on a screw mount, and then I played around to make a ring. It is suprisingly easy to control. I could not believe it when this pen stopped working, I did not want to return it and be classed as a ham fisted user so I dismantled it and found the positive wire from the input jack to the motherboard had come loose. After soldering the wire in place the pen worked but I am disappointed with the operation as it is slow and the speed buttons do not seem to have much effect. I have to say the previous and cheaper pen was better until it stopped working. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Smelly and design flaws *by C***K on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 January 2017* Very good quality for price, takes not long to warm up! It really smells when it warms up though! It cools down fairly quickly (depending on your room temp, mines about 20) and stiffens. Once dried it is like uncooked spaghetti, it seems like you can bend it easily, but snaps not long after you bend it. The tip can sometimes be a bit off since when the "goo" comes out the tip, it curls around itself and gets stuck on the tip. When it dries on the tip, it is very hard to get off and you need something hard to get off like a knife or scissors!
