Saved my Prusa MK3S
Got a giant blob of death when printing PETG on my printer. After heating it up and carefully removing what I could, the process had ruined the thermistor, heater cartridge, and got into the threads of the heater block and ruined some PETG printed parts. I opted to buy this complete setup rather than trying to salvage what I had, and save the working parts for the next catastrophe. My printer is working great again and haven't noticed a difference in quality.

Doesn't come with PTFE tube
Be aware this is clearly advertised as a KIT and the individual parts are shown on the last photo. If you want something pre-assembled from Prusa or elsewhere be prepared to pay around $80. Although instructions are available on YouTube and Prusa's website, the first set of instructions I found had steps out of order (e.g. the thermistor and heater needs to be installed on the heater block BEFORE installing the nozzle, heater tube, etc.).I assumed a replacement PTFE tube was in the bag of parts shown in the last photo but hidden by the label. Wrong assumption. The kit doesn't come with any and I can't salvage the one from my old hotend so had to order a replacement. In hindsight there may be some logic to this given it is advertised as fitting both MK3 and MK3S which don't use the same length PTFE tube. If it shipped with one of each an inexperienced assembler might choose the wrong one. This puts the onus on the user to use the right tube.I'm still waiting for parts so can't comment on print quality but otherwise it appears to be OEM quality.

Prusa MK3S+ - Perfect Fit
Yes, you do have to assemble this kit... hence a kit and not a replacement component.Assembly was easy, just screw all the things in like you usually do, pull the ptfe tube from your MKS and put it in this one so the lengths match, unless yours is just in terrible shape, perform a PID tune or so, run first layer calibration and you're good to go!

Not E3D parts, junk thermistor caused a near meltdown
I bought a few of these kits and haven't had issues in the past. The last batch I bought all had bad thermistors. They are clearly different than the parts you get from prusa directly. The marketing on this product is misleading.Of the 2 printers that I installed these parts in, both threw intermittent MAXTEMP errors. One of the printers made it through 3 prints before it stunk up the whole room trying to set itself on fire.I replaced the thermistors with genuine parts from prusa and the issues went away.Don't waste your money on this kit, buy your hotend from prusa. In a worst case scenario, this kit could cost you literally everything.

Great drop in replacement for Prusa Mk 3s+
If you own a Prusa, expect to need a replacement hot end at some point. The factory warranty is absolutely worthless and they are out of stock for the 3s+ hot end. My printer suddenly developed an issue from one good print to the next that failed. There was excessive clicking noice coming from the filament feed gears. I did everything possible to clean the system but failed. It took two weeks of emails to Prusa who in the end offered nothing other than useless cleaning advice. I would have just gone with a replacement hot end from the start if they had any in stock and I never checked amazon to see if one was available until it was late.If you are in the same boat, go ahead and just save the pain and wasted time and order this one. Assembly was very straight forward and this was a drop in replacement for my printer. I I also like the fact that this comes with the collet clip as my original did not have one.Now for the people complaining and leaving negative reviews because they did not receive a PTFE tube with this, get real. Not only should you have your old PTFE tube but Prusa also includes a spare replacement. Stop leaving negative reviews for a product that works extremely well.

It's all there
Make sure to read the details before buying. It is not pre-assembled. It does not include PTFE. It may not have every part you need, so buy or make whatever is not included.Otherwise, it's all good to go.
