Does the job
As a novice Shepard, I didn't want to shave my ladies too close and cut them. This item helps protect the skin and leave a little wool on them to protect from sunburn. I would love it if it was a little thicker to leave it just a little longer. It's not a perfect fit on the shears, but trimming off the little tabs on the outter prongs helped so they don't get stuck in the wool during the process of shearing.

Fits perfectly on my TAKEKIT shears. Don't have to worry about accidentally nicking my sheep. Made shearing more comfortable.

Works on Beetro Sheers, Appeared Used Though
Believe this will work on most sheep sheers as it worked for the Beetro sheers I purchased. Appeared used as one of the hooks appeared slightly melted with dark coloring thus the reason for the 4 stars.Protects my dog's skin from the sheers but does hang on the fur occasionally which is to be expected, easy to just grab the hair and unhook.Definitely recommend if you have to use sheep sheers for your dog like I do.

I need it for my take fit horse clippers
I bought it to clip my horse but it only works for sheep shearing

cut the hooks off.
the hooks on the top end of comb get caught in hair can't pull clipper back so I cut the hook off the top of the teeth with diagonal wire cutters and then it worked great !!!!
