Perfect! Works well on a Wrangler
Very strong and sturdy yet lightweight! I'd highly recommend this. One of the best parts was that the sides of this are low enough to clear the swing out tailgate on my Wranger Unlimited Willy's (with bigger spare tire). It allowed me to swing out the tailgate without making contact with this cargo carrier when there's nothing on the carrier. That was critical to me compared to other carriers because I wanted to attach it and still load or unload the Wrangler trunk without having to remove it.As someone else commented, you will need a 2" hitch stabilizer/tightener. When this carrier is in the hitch there is still some give left-right-up-down so you are going to NEED a $10-$15 stabilizer. But I expected that and had one ready and it worked great. Just make sure to keep a wrench handy in your glovebox for a trip when you want to remove it. I went with the Vehiclex Hitch Stabilizer I found on Amazon for $15 with the red coating. This carrier was super helpful and durable! I also bought the BougeRV Hitch Cargo Carrier Bag (48"L x 20"W x 22"H) which fit perfectly and comes with it's own tie downs. Although just to be extra cautious I used 3 additional ratchet straps and that thing wasn't going anywhere after I tied it all down and that bag was very waterproof.Note that when I received the carrier I had to assemble it. I wasn't sure to expect that but it was VERY easy to assemble and I had that done in under 30min taking my time.

Sturdy? Not really. Good for light loads? Yes. Easy to use? Very easy.
This hitch rack was very easy to assemble and install. It is very light weight and well fitted. But I would not put anywhere near 500 pounds in it, as stated in the description. It will not rust, but it is not nearly as sturdy as a heavier steel and more expensive rack. We used it for carrying about 150 pounds of luggage and it worked very well. It will be used on an irregular basis for light loads. If you plan to use yours often and with heavier loads, then you may want to spend more for a sturdier rack, or at least manage your expectations with this one.August 27, 2020 - Just returned from a 5000+ mile trip with this rack. For the price, I conclude that it is exceptional value. It hauled our bags, flawlessly.

Great value
For the price, a great deal. Carrier is lightweight, easy to handle and was a snap to assemble--just a few bolts and screws. Maybe 10 minutes. On a Tahoe, it mounts quickly and is at the perfect height--still able to open tailgate if carrier is unloaded, and it sits well out of range of the exhaust (though other reviews point out that this is NOT true for other vehicles). I did use an inexpensive hitch tightener (WOFTD Hitch Tightener on Amazon) which was essential in my opinion. Was quite secure with a load of about 90 lbs. Tie down options are limited to just four drilled out holes in the frame, but was able to use three ratchet tie-downs using the four holes, and wrapping under to catch one of the crossbars for the third, so no worries about load shifting.Only negative, the aluminum tray is pretty easily bent. I have a moderate, roughly 1", dent on one side, and I'm not even sure when it happened. Doesn't take a big impact to make a dent. But overall, I'd take that in return for the light weight and the low price. If I were constantly hauling stuff on a hitch carrier, I'd probably spring for a more expensive steel carrier. But for a few times a year, this is just fine. Overall, zero regrets over this purchase.

Perfect for hauling stuff
I bought this product for hauling a few plastic boxes of stuff behind my 2018 Honda CR-V and it worked perfectly. I added a Trimax Anti-Rattle Clamp and it was solidly attached to my Class III hitch with no movement or rattle during my 900 mile trip. I couldn't even tell it was back there on the rear of my car. It is sturdy, lightweight and fit perfectly into my hitch receptacle. The price was great and the assembly was easy. I highly recommend this product! I also used a MaxiHaul waterproof bag that fit perfectly on this cargo carrier.

Reinforce the tie-down holes.
The product is great and light weight. I had to reinforce the tie-down holes, due to the aluminum ripped under pressure. I wanted this cargo tray because the sides are short. That makes it easier to lift items over the edges. You can buy flat stock steel from a big box hardware store. I used a step down drill bit and riveted to the cargo tray. Problem solved.Works fantastic now…Also buy a stabilizer bracket, it will keep it from flopping side to side. Well worth the extra $20.

Nice light weight aluminum rack!
Great lightbweight hauler. I have a larger steel one that is so heavy, bulky and big that it's hard to store and not so easy to drag around. I needed something I can easily attach to my car or truck routinely as its for my paramotor that I use often. This was quick and easy to set up, is light weight, easy to grab and haul around and seems to be sturdy enough for my needs. Due to the floor of the rack not solid (it has slats running across with gaps in between) I bought a sheet of 1/8 (.125) aluminum Dimond plate ($80) cut to size at 19 5/8" X 48" (so it fits just inside the rows of rivets holding the slats on - so it sits flat) and I will be riveting that to the bottom for a solid floor. Then I'll be able to set my paramotor base onto a solid surface. The original floor would be fine for your average hauling needs though.
