I work outdoors and it rains constantly here in the pnw, so when I was getting all of my papers wet with my other clipboards, I decided it was time for an upgrade, I love that it has a waterproof shield so I can still see my papers and be on task! I also love the storage it has because it keeps even more papers/supplies I need on hand and dry! It’s very sturdy and durable! I’ve dropped this a lot and it’s still in great shape!

It's a very nice clipboard. I like the way the clear top holds papers under so you can see what forms you have. Also you can open the main compartment while keeping the clear part closed. Works perfectly for what I was needing

Update: from use the clipboard is no longer sticking and the front clear cover has not cracked or scratched while using it as a lap desk while typing on a computer. The Microsoft edge laptop fits inside also. I enjoy it so much that I purchased a backup! I enjoy the clear cover as I store a large picture to reference during education. Old Review: I have other clipboards by this brand and find them durable but I am not sure how durable the clear cover will be over time as I like to use the clipboard as a laptop table when typing on my computer and this may become scratched if I do not have a paper clipped to the front. I have found this to be the most useful clipboard to store my papers and schedule (20 papers in front clear portion), schedule on clipboard, and iPad Pro 2020 12.9" with slim case (fits both the simple cases with and without attached pencil holder) with apple pencil, and magic keyboard (or regular bluetooth keyboard) in bottom portion. Perfect fit. I include a piece of thin foam (from iPad case shipping package) when I do not use the keyboards and to protect the iPad screen further. The bottom portion gets stuck on one side when opening (i.e. 4 stars) and I have to lightly pry it open with both hands but this may become more functional over longer use (only have used it for a week).

Nice sturdy

I bought this in my final year of undergrad to use out in the field, as I was finishing up my geology degree and needed a durable clipboard to do mapping with. I liked that it had the clear cover to keep a map clean under the top surface, as well as the inside to store extra materials, like a field notebook. I cannot understate enough: this thing will still exist in millions of years. It is so much more durable than I could have possibly imagined. It has been beaten, bruised, dropped off rocky outcrops, kicked from cliffs, has tumbled down piles of jagged desert rocks, had rocks dumped onto it - you name it. Whatever a geologist out in the field could possibly do to this thing, it has been done. And it endured countless hours in the desert heat. Left out in the sun. You name it. And it's just fine! This picture is from when it was brand new, on its maiden voyage, but even with a thousand deep cuts and scrapes, it still works just as well as it did that first day. No clasp or hinge ever broke. My classmates who had come out with metal clipboards not only were burdened by extra weight, but those also get hot. This one doesn't! If you want a sturdy clipboard with space inside that does its job - look no further. This thing has your back.

It's hard to imagine how a clipboard could be more useful, with its clear plastic board with storage underneath, and a second, larger storage compartment, which I use for class paper and even pens if I wish. Most clipboards have storage of some sort, but the outstanding feature of this one is the transparent top panel that allows me to keep my student roster in constant view. I bought this in December for $20 and it costs $26 now, but the product is well worth the cost. Seems like I've had it for a very long time. It's just that useful and valuable to me.
