Everyday Minerals Jojoba Base, 2N Light

After using this powder for 15 years, always buying directly from their website. It’s become impossible, the website is terrible and they don’t have deals anymore. I tried a few other brands which were all terrible. So, now I’ll pay a little more, but I like knowing that when I order it will actually get delivered.

I bought the 2n because they were out of the 2c. The 2n makes me look really pale because there's no color to it. I mixed it with mineral bronzer to give me some color until my shade is back in stock. I like the Jojoba base in these the best because it just makes me skin look that good.

This mineral powder goes on smooth and covers evenly. I don't use a concealer with it, but I do use a little bronzer to set it off. It lasts until the end of the day when I take it off. This does not clog my pores like liquid foundation did. I've been using mineral powder foundation for 16 years so I'm definitely convinced it's better. I can't remember when I found Everyday Minerals, but it was at least 6 years ago. I've been using it ever since.I like this Everyday Mineral foundation powder because the ingredients are pure like Bare Minerals foundation powder, but it costs about half the price. If they were both the same price, I would choose Bare Minerals because it blends a tiny bit better. There's not a big enough difference between the two to me to make it worth spending the extra money.This is a good powder to start with. I really appreciate that on the Everyday Minerals website, you can order small sample sizes to try different shades before you buy them. That's another good money saver.

Not thrilled with this stuff. The color is fine, pigmentation is even, and the little lid inside the container that can be closed (think old-fashioned salt containers, slide the solid piece over to cover holes) is definitely a genius detail.Unfortunately, the product itself does not live up to the packaging. The texture is fine, it goes on decently over moisturizer/primer, but it does require some buffing to get it on evenly and not leave chalky spots. On me, at least, it stays well but it develops a very shiny, almost plastic-y surface as the day goes on. Not talking about "dewy fresh" - actually shiny. Not good. I don't have the patience or time to spend re-touching my face every few hours, so I won't be ordering this again.
