A must have.
This leash gives you better control of your dog. It is comfortable. The extra hand placement is great.

Awesome Leash!
We have a 60lb female Husky, Zyra. Being a Husky she has the natural tendency to pull because she loves the resistance being that they are working dogs. We make her heel when we cross the street or pass people, therefore it's so nice not to have to pull in the leash and try to roll it up or crunch it so she comes right by our side for that. This leash is perfect in that regard and also, we noticed that she actually walks a lot better and feels more free with this lengthy vs her 5 ft one she had before. Can't praise it enough especially for the price. The look and quality is really nice as well. We ended up buying a second one just a couple days after getting the 1st one! Highly recommended.

Outstanding customer support.
Let me begin this review by stating customer service today is usually non existent. Well not with this company. John, the owner I presume, not only responded to my email immediately, he actually addressed my idea and concern. This is my opinion makes this a five star product for customer service alone. Now onto the leash. The leash itself is great. I like the overall length being 8 feet. This is great for taking a walk or just allowing your dog a little extra distance. I also like the short handle near the top to draw your dog close should cicumstances dictate. The leash has a good comfort feel in your hand due to the padding. Bottom line I would recommend this leash. Now before I conclude let me say this. The lobster clasp in my opinion is not the best, I prefer a more heavy duty clasp. However having made this statement let me explain further. I spoke to John ( again presumably the owner) he assured me the quality is in place for the lobster clasp and it is in fact up to standard. I will say I have experienced no issues with the leash or the clasp. I have a 90 pound pit bull who is solid as a brick wall. So if any other consumers need a reference point/dog here is mine to go off of. Bottom line I still give this leash five stars. Based on customer service being outstanding, the fact the company seeks consumer feedback and actually appears to care what the consumer has to say. In addition the leash itself is very nice and also carries a one year guarantee. That was one reason I also purchased it. In the end I do recommend purchasing this leash. If you are bit more normal, or not as specific as me then I assure you this leash is great. Again, I have had no issues with the leash, it's just more or a personal preference in my book.

Just what my wife was looking for to help in controlling our new dog.
It works great in the trading of our new and keeps better control.

Really great, could be perfect!
We have several leashes but have been using this nonstop since I bought it a few months ago, because (although it has really annoying flaws) the length is perfect for a front-attach harness (there are no other good options at 8' without a second loop) and the weight of the webbing lets me throw the leash under my dog's neck to switch sides.Ours is red. I really wanted black, but now I think getting a leash this long in black is a bad choice, because you can clothesline or trip people if they can't see the leash, or someone might think your dog isn't on leash at all and be frightened or stir up trouble. As they do.For the most part I really like this leash buuuut:The handle hole is TOO BIG. Also, because the handle is padded, it stays open like an O, and that combination lets the handle slip right over your hand instead of conforming to your wrist. I always put my wrist through the handle then wrap my hand once in the leash about a foot down, which makes the leash a bit shorter and gives me a little slack to let out for safety, if my dog lunges or jumps into a ditch, etc. Well, if I lean over, the handle will slide right off of my arm and onto the leash, so I'm only holding the leash by one wrap around my hand. I'm quick, it's usually okay, but you have to fumble with the 8 feet of leash, which are now crocheted together, and if your dog lunges right then, and you're untangling the leash, it could be a problem, especially if you have something in your other hand. It's always the worst times when they lunge and the handle falls off. (Yes, I'm training my dog. She's a headstrong, highly prey-driven bully breed we got as a stray, and she came to us with some severe issues that I'm dealing with as a novice. Yes, she's getting better, and yes, I'm learning. The issues with the leash are still relevant.)If you're using a front-attach harness, the thick handle at the clip end of the leash will be useless for you, and slap your dog about 120 times a minute. The faster your dog runs, the faster it will slap them. It's padded which makes it heavy, and it's also not flexible, with a lip on one side, so it catches on things (including the harness, and my dog's face). I was going to cut off the lower handle but my sister likes it, I guess because she's short and she doesn't walk as quickly or use it as often. The lower handle is just really not great. On any leash like this. If you're tall, or your dog is short, and/or you're using a front-attach harness which lowers the handle...It will be useless or almost useless. You have to double over to grab it. If it's an emergency it's hard to grab it at all. I wish they'd make one you could slide up or down, or remove. The edges of the webbing will cut you if your dog lunges while you're grabbing the leash. We walk in the forest, and my dog (more than once) has tried to go for a rabbit or whatever, so I grabbed the middle of the leash to stop her, but I didn't get it wrapped around my hand and it slid fast and hard across my palm. Ow. They used a satin weave for the webbing. It looks really nice and feels good normally, but it's slippery. The reflective stuff is a nice idea but doesn't seem to do much, and with use it breaks in spots so it pokes you in the hand.I wish they would make a leash like this without the lower handle. It doesn't need it. It's easier to wrap your hand in the leash near the bottom than to try to get your hand in the lower handle, which catches on everything anyway, and weighs a lot.

BEST DOG LEASH EVER
The cushioned handles are extremely comfortable. The second handle offers some versatility. The length is just right. It provides enough freedom to the dog while still being under complete control. Excellent quality and value. 10/10.For additional context, I have a 100lbs Akita, 60lbs bully and a 10lbs miniature dachshund. This leash works great for my dogs and I.

Love this leash!
I love this 8' leash! It's well made, but is a bit stiff at first. The more you use, the more souple it gets. I make knots in it to add grip points. I also like the ring near the handle which can make the lead a double-clip if you add a carabeener clip (to tie the harness on the back and the front, or to have a clip to a harness and the other to a collar, or to be able to tie the leash to a post or tree).
