Great product. This dryer lint trap is just what we wanted. Works as a secondary lint trap to prevent lint from getting past the dryer and collecting along the vent pipe. It is easy to open and clean out but it doesn't have to be opened all that often, once a month maybe. It was really easy to install and it gets the job done. Not so pretty to look at, but I wanted metal and not plastic.

Great. But need improvement on door latching. Like J Hook Type Toggle Clamp would work better.

Works great. I connected the dryer hose to it and connected it to the existing wall vent pipe with a new hose, and simply propped it on the back of the dryer. Eventually I will screw it to the wall. The unit feels quite solid, being metal and even the plastic window is plexiglass of a normal thickness, which would be impossible to break with this type of usage. I've had it for over 2 months now. I'm happy every time I remove the lint from within it, because that lint would be clogging my roof vent! I admit the the company could really use a better photo in the listing-I had to look elsewhere online to figure the unit out, and that would help them sell more units, but if that's all I have to complain about, then what a great day it is!

Due to a recent dryer fire I am redoing my laundry closet area. Trying to do my do diligence with this inline lint trap seemed like a great idea, especially since my 2nd floor laundry is located in the middle of the house and is vented up through the roof. I have no doubt that after some good old fashioned AMERICAN ingenuity that this will work. But....every seam will need to be taped, the gaps in the insulation around the door will need to be filled in and construction glue or tape applied where the poorly soldered connection has come apart at one of the seems on the box portion. I only gave it 3 stars instead of 2 because I could find no better item online. They all had similar reviews/complaints. How much extra effort would it really take to produce a 4-5 star product??

The seal is worthless. This leaks A LOT of water vapor. Filter is hard to remove, and then when you put it back on you realize how loose the seal is. Extremely bad design. This is a complete waste of money.

This works just fine. It's well made and would recommend it. There is a trick to opening it would be nice if they would include that in the box. Just pull down on cover and top pops out then pull up.

This is heavy duty compared to the dryer hose material you use to connect your dryer. I most satisfied and happy I have something between my dryer lint catcher and the common ducting in my condo.

A very basic item that does what is should. Nothing too finished about it, just a sheet metal box. You may have to adjust the removable piece (it fits into grooves I. The sheet metal, so jus bend the metal until it works more easily. Should sell for less given its roughed out nature. But bottom line is this: it solved my problem 100%. No more lint clogging my very short vent pipe on my very new dryer. No more lint depositing itself on my screen porch screens as a result. Took only 20 minutes to install. Buy it!
