LOFTEK Pool Lights, Submersible LED Lights with Magnets &10 Suction Cups

I bought one set and just rec'd a second set for our pool. I am using Eneloop batteries. I also use a tiny bit of silicone gasket lubricant to prevent any water leaks. I have to get close (5 feet or so) to one of the lights to get it to activate but other than that, these are great. I am using two suction cups on each light and sticking them to my waterline border tile. We may end up with three sets. I got the light the next day after the order but batteries will be a week. I recommend these lights. Added Sept 10, 2020 - These are great lights as I originally posted but I am finding the suction cups don't stick very well. I am sticking them to the pool waterline tile band so they are on a smooth surface, but I usually find a couple of them on the bottom of the pool every day. I am also finding the batteries tend to run down. I believe the lights blink red when the batteries are low but you cannot see them blink in the daylight. Added August 18, 2021 Following on to previous reviews. The suction cups are basically useless. They don't have the suction to hold the lights at the waterline. Nice lights but no good it the sink to the bottom of the pool.

This wasn't my first rodeo with this product. I bought these a few years ago and I didn't have a issue with them. I actually loved them except for the the suction cups wouldn't keep them stuck on the side of our pool so, I had to use the magnet on them to keep them hung inside the pool. Using the magnets caused rust on the inside of my pool on my pool liner. (Picture attached with this review).. but after a few Summer's being underwater in my pool they wore out which I expected over time. This year I decided it was time for new ones. I ordered new ones on June 13th 2022... along with a new super-sized pack of batteries from Energizer. They arrived on June 15th 2022. Due to being extremely busy working I didn't have time to put them in the pool until this past week. This time has been a totally different experience. I put the new batteries in the brand new "Submersible " LED lights. First of all the lights wouldn't come on when I pushed the on button. I didn't have that issue prior. Second, the suction cups didn't hold them up in the pool (as I expected from owning my first ones) but I didn't expect to go out last night and find my lights filled up with water and rusted. Not only did I waste $38.15 for the lights, tax ect but the things destroyed twelve brand new batteries (which are expensive all by themselves). I'm attaching photos of the brand new "Submersable" Led lights. The lights were a total waste of money this time. I'm going to try to get my money back and get a new set (hoping this was a defective set). We shall see IF they refund me. Although, I'll still be stuck with the cost of the wasted batteries that these lights destroyed. Pictures are attached to show you what the lights look like in LESS than a week in my pool. One light is stuck on the "on" position and ithe others who knows at this point because I can't check anything out while they are completely soaked with water.. Bottom line is the "Submersible" LED lights filled up with water causing the lights to be destroyed. I don't understand why my first set didn't have this issue and my second set is a totally different experience. I'm really disappointed this time with this product. With my current experience I would not recommend this product at all.

Update Number 2: The magnets rust and stain the liner! ☹️☹️☹️ Update: They have started to lose suction and slide a bit. Or they could have been bumped by the dog. 🙂 I have already lost a suction cup when trying to reattach. They are small and very hard to find in the pool, so order extra suction cups! These are wonderful (so far)! Because I was not sure about the suction, I placed all 4 in the shallow end of the 18 x 36 ft pool. The white and blue colors also light the deep end. So far, the suction cups are working. I just ordered another set for the deep end! The red and orange colors are not very bright, but look pretty when the lights change colors. One remote works for all 4 even though 2 are included. (You just have to hit the buttons more times, I think.) I will update as the summer and use of these lights continues. I think I need to stock up on batteries! 🙂

We have a very smooth fiberglass pool and these lights will not stay suctioned to the side. They fall off and sink to the bottom. We had them in the pool for a few days and water got into the battery pack and corroded the batteries. UPDATE: the seller reached out to me with concern about my disappointment with their product. They offered a refund and I appreciated the steps they took to address the situation.

I was a little skeptical about this lights since they were a little pricey but let me tell you I don't regret my purchase and I couldn't be more happier with it. First the lights are way bigger, brighter and nicer than the rest of the light sets out there, Yes, you will pay a little bit more money but in return you get a way better product and a company that offers you a piece of mind and stand behind their product. I used my light set in my son's fishing boat and they worked extremely well, batteries last a long time but I recommend purchasing rechargeable batteries that way you only pay for batteries once. You get two remote controls which works really well from close and up to ten feet away. I used 3M velcro strips to attach our lights to the inside of the boat and are very sturdy and won't fall off easily unless you knock them off by force. Suction cups didn't work too well for me but that had to do with the curved and material of the boat. Magnets also performed reliable well but we are not used them. In conclusion, do your self a favor and buy this lights, you pay more money but in the long run you'll be saving way more money. Update on my lights, after using our lights in our small boat we decided to use this lights in our above ground swimming pool salt system and I hate to say that the lights only lasted a week and after that started to malfunction, remote control wouldn't work properly, lights wouldn't turned off or just stayed flashing until finally they stopped working completely even after installing fresh batteries on both remote and lights, nothing happened. They performed so well in our boat but not so good submerged in the salt water. Only lasted little over two months, I know if I would of kept them inside the boat they would probably lasted a long time. Who knows.

Doing some research, we got these. So far they work well, the remote doesn’t control past 20 feet but no big deal. I read that everyone’s leaked because the o-ring wasn’t very good. I ended up vacuum sealing the entire light and it sticks on the side of my metal pool good even with kids splashing around. It’s pretty bright with 4 on a 21’ round pool.

For how cheap they are, these LEDs actually put out a good amount of light. I bought these to use around the pool for parties and swimming at night. After about a week one of the LEDs stopped responding to the remote and eventually stopped working altogether. I believe the culprit is that these are BARELY "WATERPROOF". The first time I opened it up to see what the problem was I noticed water on the batteries. The suction cups that come with them are completely useless as well. They don't stay in the LEDs much less attached to anything. Completely useless. The magnets seem to work decently well. Pros: - Bright light - Cool colors - Cheap price - Ok magnets on the back Cons: - 1 out of 4 broken after 1 week - Short Remote range (2 - 3 feet) - Not nearly as "waterproof" as described - Useless suction cups that don't stick UPDATE 4/27: 2 out of the 4 Lights now not working. Returning these and getting something else. Buyer be warned! these are not nearly as waterproof as they advertise!

Products went well for a while. But then they started messing up about 1 week ago two of them will not turn off u have to manually remove the batteries to get the product to turn off. And one of them caused the battery’s to corroded and mine you these are brand new batteries. It looks unsafe like it might cause a fire or worse plus the corrosion so I stopped using it, due to the kids in the pool. I liked the products over all it was fun while it lasted only used on occasions around the patio not every night. Would not buy again. But would try to find a better product for the price it was not worth it for the amount of time that it worked bought June 6 2022 and they faulted out in a little over a month. Try you a different product don’t waste your money. Because the return window is one month no longer and I missed my return window. Suction was iffy it moved a lot did a lot of repositioning. Remote will turn on other led strip lights that you have in the house or outside this was a down side because it turned on our lights in our boat without us knowing and killed the batteries. So just double check to make sure you don’t have any other lights coming on that you don’t want coming on if you decide to get. Not water resistant as advertised the magnets rusted on the product and corroded. And water got in two of them. Causing issues with the product.
