Start living, sunny side up with this space-efficient coop-and-run combination. It's hand built from solid fir and is roomy enough to comfortably house up to 4 chickens. The roost features a uniquely styled roof, offering shade and shelter while beneath the coop, a galvanized mesh-enclosed run gives hens a secure space to forage and exercise. The dual-stall nesting box is accessible through a convenient, waist-height prop-up door for easy egg collection. The coop is simple to assemble, requiring only one person and a screwdriver. Additional run space may be provided by attaching one or more universal expansion pens (sold separately), which is recommended for those who cannot free-range their birds during the day.

Cute but small!!
Very cute coop but its way too small for 4 large chickens...Definitely not worth the money.... I have 3 Rhode Island Reds and they don't have enough room...Also there isn't enough room for their food and water....I am actually looking into getting/building a bigger coop and I haven't had this for a week yet.. Its a good design and was very easy to put together... I did it by myself in about an hour...Just wish it was bigger... So If you are looking to have more than 2 chickens I don't recommend you buy this...however if 2 is all you need go for it! I should also mention that I put this coop in a 16' X 30' run and my chickens only sleep and lay in the coop....Overall very disappointed!

Four Chicken Max Coop
We have four hens, they have been getting used to walking up the ladder. They did have some trouble in the begging the slots between the rungs are big. They have matured and are able to go into the top of the coop. We do let them free range, but at night the spend the night huddled together. A rain cover of some kind would have been nice when it pour so the sideways rain does not affect them. I would not get more then four hens in the coop unless you purchase an extra run to attach to it. The cedar smells wonderful and the quality is impeccable. We originally order another coop which was too small for even chicks. I would recommend this to a chicken starter.

Easy coop to build
This coop is amazing! The instructions were clear, all parts arrived in good shape and fit together nicely. It took two of us ~40 mins to build. I was worried about buying this given some negative reviews, but our experience was very positive. I highly recommend this for first-time chicken owners. I know our chickens will like it!

It's ok, but doesn't look like it will work long-term.
I bought this coop in 2015 for my 4 hens. I have it connected to a run that I built out of an old above-ground pool frame. As another reviewer noted, there is no place to put food or water into it to keep them out of the weather. The poop drawer is not easy to clean. The prop for the nesting box lid has failed. It's a kit coop, so I didn't expect it to be super durable, but I'm finding that the access doors below the coop have warped. It's working for now, but I will end up having to build a "real" coop.

Not the quality I was expecting based on the video.
Despite several pieces arriving broken we managed to get this together. However it's quite flimsy and we don't expect it to last very long or be very predator proof. You can fit two Rhode Island Reds or 4 bantams (silkies are what we have) in it. Disapointed. I expected much better quality.

Arrived with many splits in the wood
Several of the main pieces arrived with split wood where the screws were driven in by the manufacturer. These splits compromise the protective aspects of the product. We attempted to put it together nevertheless and even with great care, more of the wood split when we used the supplied hardware. At this point we have a pretty little coop that we can't use for our chicks unless they're supervised for fear of predators getting at them.

It is easy to build only took 2 hours going slow
I bought this a week ago and have been putting it together. A piece was broken on it so I told Amazon and they are sending me another one so I ended up with 2. I plan to combine them. Also it smells strong of the wood treatment so I would go and buy sealer so oil dosnt leak out. Then I plan on painting with exterior paint. Thing I am changing are the laches and adding door handles. I also caulked they roof and panels inside. It is easy to build only took 2 hours going slow. Will be adding photos soon.

It does smell like cedar too
It is not big enough for 4 chickens. There is no room for water or food in the coop. Also the wood split on some pieces and there was gaps in the sides meet... im afraid to put it outside because im concerned for my chicks safety.I do think it is very cute, but not big enough for the chicks and maybe just my item was damaged. It does smell like cedar too. I love the smell. Just wish it was bigger and not damaged.
