If you grew up in Des Plaines, this is a must read LOL

Brought back lots of memories of working in the stockroom with Louis and Wally.

This is a wonderful bit of local history but if you're not from Des Plaines, IL where this store was located you probably won't find this as interesting as I did. It can get a bit slow in places especially when the author dives more into the family history but he does explain in the beginning of the book that he wrote this to also have a record exist for future generations which I can get behind. Overall I enjoyed reading this bit of history from my hometown and am grateful the author decided to share it.
