Chronic insomnia, this helps. Had over three years of getting 3-4 hours sleep a night. Over time was increasing doses of various adaptogens and sleep herbs. Got to point of spending £35 a month on separate herbs to help me sleep, plus adatogens as an extra expense on that, vitamins etc. Decided it was too much for liver to metabolise. Kinesiologist tested my stash (huge) of tonics and recommended I ditch the nytol for a different brand of valerian (sleepeasy) at a dose of 3 tablets a night and 2 doses of lemon balm. This got me from having 3-4 hours sleep a night, to having 2 blocks of 3-4 hours sleep each a night, but like sleeping in split shifts with three or so hours awake between. Within a fortnight this has become 6 hours and now finally 7 hours straight. I must include as relevant info, the last three years has been traumatic, and the traumatic events stopped about six months ago, and it is natural for the body to correct itself and sleep to begin to go back to normal about six months after the trauma stops. So it may be a coincidence, but the amount I'm spending on sleeping tablets has halved and I am happy. My GP was insistent I should begin something medication-wise to correct my sleep a couple of months ago, but I am delighted I stuck firm to my beliefs that I just needed time to heal. I do not want to be dependent on prescription medication. My kinesiologist tests products for benefits and harms and some of the products I was using were apparently harmful. I have no idea how much the kinesiology had to do with it, but it is a mighty coincidence if it had nothing to do with it, but I am sure that the recommended changes to the supplements I was taking based on it contributed to my recovery. I am mid-30's but have felt in my 60's for the last three years with awful aches and pains and lack of energy etc, now I am starting to feel energetic again.

Great product and got it fast

I use this product for getting better sleep and not waking up every 1 - 2 hours at night. It works, although best if I take two capsules. I only wake once or twice a night now which is much improved and notice it if I miss taking the capsules. Pretty expensive as I blow through a pack a month. I have heard it can be detrimental to thyroid long-term so will not be taking for extended periods.

I have had a strange experience with this product. I've been using the 450mg capsules for some time and thought to try the bigger dose. Mistake! 450mg makes me feel relaxed and sleep better, but 1500mg makes me anxious and struggle to sleep. I'll stick with the smaller dose.... don't know how common this is but something to bear in mind.

I can have a deep sleep for 8-9 hrs for the 1st time in years. Feeling so refreshed in the morning. Game changer!

Unfortunately these haven’t worked for me and caused me to wake up several times in the night.

Was told,this,is good to aid insomnia . 1st night of trying has t helped. Will try for a,few more days before passing further judgement
