Good quality, nice cord length, easy to use, works great. Worked so well, I bought two more. We use them as plug and play.

My original review score of 5 is still accurate, as these cables have done what I needed them to, but my situation is unique and I need to clarify some very important details. If you're interested in these cables because you want to use them with an Xbox 360, you can ignore this review. If you're interested in using them to play PC games I urge you to keep reading, as that is what I use them for. But again, important distinctions need to be made.***If you want these cables, or any 360 controller cables, to play PC games, these WILL NOT WORK on their own. These cables are for charging a wireless 360 controller battery pack, or possibly playing 360 games directly. These cables DO NOT turn a wireless 360 controller into a functional wired PC controller. These cables CAN be used to play PC games but ONLY IF you also have a wireless 360 adapter. The only reason to buy these cables for use with PC gaming is this: If you have a wireless 360 controller, you also have an Xbox 360 PC adapter, and you do not want to bother with batteries or a battery pack when using your wireless 360 controller.***==========================My situation is this: I have several wireless controllers and wanted to use them to play PC games. I was able to do this when, years ago, I purchased a 360 PC adapter like this one (note: I don't own this exact item, mine is the official Microsoft version. I started looking into cables like the ones here on this page, thinking that they would allow me to connect a wireless controller to the PC, thus turning it into wired controller for direct play and eliminating any further need for batteries or a battery pack. This APPEARED to work, and I therefore gave a strong review. The problem came when, many months later, I only just today realized that I was half-correct.This is the very important part.These cables DO physically connect a wireless 360 controller to the PC, but that is only for the purpose of charging a 360 battery pack if one is attached to that controller. On their own, these cables WILL NOT transfer gameplay data to the PC. They DO NOT "turn a wireless 360 controller into a wired PC controller". It initially appeared to me that they did but that's only because, when switching from batteries to trying out these cables, I had forgotten to ever disconnect my 360 PC adapter from the back of my PC. One of these cables was supplying power to my wireless controller, but it was the still-attached 360 PC adapter that was allowing the powered controller to actually interact with my PC games. I was able to use these cables to play PC games, yes, but only because I hadn't realized that they were working in tandem with the adapter to accomplish this.==========================BOTTOM LINE:* The cables on this page, and I think it's safe to assume ALL 360 wireless controller charge cables, ONLY supply power to the controller. While this may work in turning a wireless 360 controller into a wired one for direct plug and play with the Xbox 360 console (this wasn't my goal so I don't know), they DO NOT do so for PC games.* A 360 controller adapter for the PC, like the one I linked above, is REQUIRED in order to use a wireless 360 controller to play PC games.* I am almost totally certain that a WIRED / CORDED 360 controller WILL allow you to play PC games via direct connection with no need for an adapter or any other items. If you're interested in that please research further to be sure.* Thus, the combination of charging cables like these PLUS a 360 PC adapter WILL allow you to play PC games in the following configuration: Your wireless controller will be connected via cable to your PC which will power the controller, the adapter will allow the controller to interface with your PC games, and this specific configuration will eliminate the need for batteries or any kind of rechargeable battery pack.I hope that this review helps to clarify some things, and I sincerely apologize to anyone who may have been inconvenienced by my initial misunderstanding.

We were gifted an Xbox 360 secondhand, came with remotes but no way to charge. Since we were unable to find charging station or cords in an area nearby we turned to Amazon. Although the reviews were mixed we decided to try it. They work just fine. One res light doesn't pop on when plugged in and my son hasn't tried to unplug them to see if it charges the battery but cords work. They aren't flush to the remote but don't pull out while playing. If you don't mind playing with it plugged in then this is a great low cost solution.

I bought some generic wireless controllers and came across a problem, both controllers were attempting to connect to player 1 and there was no way to connect the 2nd controller to player 2. I thought maybe if I hard wired it with these cable it would solve the problem, unfortunately it did not. moral of the story, by name brand controllers. otherwise these cables worked perfect and it's no fault to them. charging worked great, exactly what I ordered, fast shipping. once I get my new Xbox controllers I have no doubt this will work perfectly. if I ever need 2 more for 4 player mode I'll definitely re-order.

At least it's making it useful for game playing. But charging my battery for the controller. No.

Beautifully packaged and working right out of the box. No problems for a lengthy trial run. Reasonable price for those who need a quick fix for an older console’s controllers.Would recommend buying, and likely to buy again myself.
