Moleskine Classic Plain Notebook, Notebook with Soft Cover and Elastic Closure, Size A4 21 x 29.7 cm, Colour Black, 192 Pages

A fantastic notebook for on the go. It's small enough to slip into a pocket but still large enough to use comfortably. The paper is the standard Moleskine paper, great for ballpoint or rollerball / gel pens but I would avoid using fountain pens as there is some bleed through and very slight feathering (it's not a fountain pen paper). I went for the Dot Grid as I wanted a bit more flexibility for sketching ideas out and it's less obtrusive then the lines, while still offering some structure. (It's also great for doodling shapes while drinking your morning coffee) The elastic closure is really good quality, I've got Moleskine notebooks from 5 years ago and the elastic is still working well. It has a nice built-in bookmark as well, I didn't appreciate how nice until I bought a different notebook and felt the cheap ribbon they used. It's a silly thing to mention but it does make a difference when you use it everyday. I'll be back soon to purchase another when this one fills up. 10/10.

Great product

I love Moleskine notebooks and will purchase them forever. I really love it when notepaper goes "crinkly" after it's been written on and I can achieve that crinkle when I use Papermate Inkjoy pens with this paper. I also use fountain pens when journaling and I get zero bleedthrough with Moleskine paper. Definitely my favourite notebooks, along with Tomoe River Paper.

I have been searching high and low for a A4 Bullet journal (from the UK). If you are a bullet journal junkie like me I have to say from the get go I wouldn't be using any pens on this journal as the pages are pretty thin, so I will be only using pencils for this one. The downside of the journal (for me) is that it isn't a hard back. As for its function I think it will absolutely serve it's purpose intended. It's fantastic that is bigger. With A5 bullet journaling I find you have to make more spreads per page and having it as A4 you have plenty of room to write down what you want whilst keeping it relevant to the page. I really love this journal and may even purchase another in the future as I prefer the size.

A worthwhile indulgence. I'm not saying that there are not other notebooks, just as good, at a more reasonable price, but I love them, and in the great scheme of things, why not treat yourself to something lovely, that will give you pleasure every time you open it.

Love it but I would like all the pages to be microperforated and also the dots to be a bit more subtle so not to interfer with my black pen when reading. Could be cheaper too

I'm a fan of Moleskine, though there are better notebooks out there in terms of paper quality. The dotted paper is a pretty good compromise between lines and plain, particularly if you're drawing diagrams / layouts. It's also pretty good for columns of numbers, without looking as cluttered as squared paper.

bereits nach sechsmaligem Benutzen, blätterte die rote Farbe ab und die kleinen Farbelemente verteilten sich unangenehm in der Umgebung und in Handtaschen. Der Name hält nicht, was er verspricht.

This has become my everyday notebook take dumb notes it's perfectly fits in my back pocket The color is great again I wish it was cheaper but that's what you get for quality. And the quality is amazing I'm really enjoying having this pocket notebook.
