I have a Merc Pro Xl 250 on a Ranger Z521 and the transom support brace broke in half on my way to the lake and I had to replace it. After shopping for a replacement I came across this Atwood transom brace and decided to give it a try. It works great. Only takes a few seconds to apply and fits in a storage compartment instead of dragging the old style to the back of my truck.

Keeps my Mercury Optimax Pro 200 perfectly still and solid while going down bumpy road. I was questioning if it would work and turned out completely pleased!! I’ll buy another one of this one wears out. My old go from the motor to trailer isn’t even half as good as this one.

This is a heavy duty bracket that fits my Mercury 250 Pro XS. Simple to use and easily stores in a compartment when not in use. It also centers the motor and holds it in position when trailering.

Have used the product for about 17 years, the rubber inserts don't last but a couple of years and I would just buy a new one because no one sells the rubber inserts. But the price has continued to go up where you can't afford to replace the entire unit every couple of years. I now have 4 spare units as I found that I could replace the rubber inserts with cut pieces of radiator hose purchased from local auto parts stores. Think I bought 4' of hose for less than 6 dollars. Product does great job of supporting engine.

So wished I would have bought this years and years ago so much simpler than that long transit holder

Very good product. Holds motor stable and easy to use. No more crawling around trying to get the motor propped for towing and then rocking back and forth to unstick it from the motor. Spring loaded pins easily squeeze for ease of use.

This is so much easier to use than the straps for the boat motor. I can even do this for my husband as he is using the retractable straps for the trailer.

A little pricey, but a very good product. I use it on a 225 HP Mercury

Terribly disappointed. This is rated for a Merc 200hp and after less than 1 month the product bent and I was unable to retratct the stainless pins. I was forced to straighten the bar, enabling me to retract the pins. Only then was I able to remove the product from my engine. Not a bad design but not nearly strong enough.
