I thought I'd try this, as the price was great & the old SUNBEAM brand I have only stays on for an hour. Because of the lower price, admittedly I didn't expect it to be the best of heating pads. Boy was I wrong. This pad is my new best friend😉. I'm a multiple amputee & I end up with some extra aches & pains. My back & knees, especially, I ask them to do more & different motions than before I had my surgeries. This pad is wonderfully flexible & the larger size allows me to wrap it around a knee & covers my back well. The covering is soft & "velvety"nice to the touch. That makes it a lot more pleasant than other heating pad covers. My Sunbeam's cover gets "pilly" & the closure doesn't snap well. I was concerned that cleaning this new pad might be an issue. It isn't. I'd barely used it a few times, when one of our pet cats coughed up a hairball on it. The cleaning is a breeze without loss of softness to its cover! And about softness, my old Sunbeam & other brands I've had, are rigid when not in use. They heat slowly & don't like to wrap around. However, THIS pad heats quickly & easily wraps. Another plus to this is its long, sturdy cord. I'm not worried about it seperating from the pad. Other older brands had a tendency of even "tearing" where the cord met the pad. That won't be a problem with this one. I really love this & am buying another. My cats, I have to remind them that this is for people, not them!😉

I bought two of these heating pads. This heating pad was great when I first bought it. Then about five months in they started shorting out. Then at month 6, they completely gave out. Now Amazon will not let me return them! Very disappointed! My mother’s heating pad literally from 1980 is still working.

Please Please make update the dial to show an on/off switch. My husband received this very useful heating pad but was disappointed that there was NO 'OFF' bottom. When I looked at reviews, several comments were that they were not happy because there was no shut off and that user had to get up and unplug to turn off! After I started my return I read instructions to find that to turn off, you simply press TWO BUTTONS TOGETHER!! GREAT PRODUCT! I CANCELED MY RETURN!!

I thankfully began with the heat on *LOW* & have only had to maintain it there because LOW is *plenty* warm!!! It does heat FAST & has a wonderfully SOFT feeling washable cover!! What I *DON'T* LIKE about this heating pad is there's *NO* OFF button which is a *BIG* problem for me except for me to just take it off of me!! Thank goodness it automatically turns OFF after 2 hours!! I chose this 1 instead of others is this 1 has a **5** year warranty as others have only a 1 year warranty!! I've not yet tried the moist heat.

I loved it, I bought it literally a year ago and it stopped working today, exactly 1 year later to the day!! I’m so sad about it. But it’s very hot and nice! If you like a high heat heating pad this one is it!! I got my moneys worth from it honestly! I used it everyday! I am going to order a new one!

I have heating pads that have last many years. I would like to give a good review . When I took out of box the pad part is soft and it is large enough to put on a back of a chair. I bought this for my coworker cause she has back pain. It stopped working after 3 months of use. Even after using the troubleshooting tactics available, it stopped heating🥲I had to give it 1 star.
