BoojeeBeads Stained Glass Beaded Badge ID Necklace Lanyard for Women

I have updated this review: May 2019These are cute and have served a purpose for my photo ID- BUT there is a downside -They do not last long. I have bought 3 in the past year and ALL of them broke within a month or two. It is unfortunate - the glass beads are very pretty and they appear to be made well- both the magnetic clasp and the badge holder clasp work well. HOWEVER, without any reason, they come apart at the point where the 2 wires meet and beads go everywhere!!!I reached out to BooJee Beads and they are supposed to send me a replacement; at least for one of them.I will do follow up review. -UPDATE: this is my follow up review- I received 3 new beaded lanyards in the mail today as replacements for the broken ones - all are very lovely!!! see photo attachedTheir personal touch of customer care/service is awesome and impressive!!! The color is nice. I gave it to my sister as a gift and she loved it. She said she has gotten plenty of compliments. It’s light weight and doesn’t tangle.

Very pretty. Definitely gets complimented by others for its uniqueness. It is heavier than I thought it would be but that means it is solid and sturdy. The breakaway clasp does in fact break away VERY EASILY which can be a bit of a pain when busy and it falls off my neck because I've turned too quickly and it swings.........breakaway to the floor. I'd like the clasp to be stronger especially with the weight of the lanyard. Overall though it was definitely a good purchase and I really like it.

I am so glad I ordered this. I was afraid that it might be too bright or gaudy for work, but it is not. It is beautiful and I get compliments on it every time I wear it. It has a magnetic clasp at back that releases with pressure. The clasp for your ID is the kind you push on to open. It is very easy to operate and take the ID off or on with one hand. The small beads have a subtle gold tint, which I really like. It blends with bronze or gold or brass colors. The larger colors are noticeable (add color) without being too bright. I am really glad I bought this. For something I wear almost every day, it is an exceptional value.Update January 2017: My lanyard broke today. I am ordering another one. I have not had it for a week and I really miss it.

I bought this lanyard less than a month ago. I loved it because it was unique and the beautiful colors of the beads went with any outfit. Today was the 21st day of using it and out of the blue, while I was walking down the hallway at school, poof...beads EVERYWHERE!! I was not carrying anything for it to get caught on, the only thing hanging on it was a standard id badge in a cheap plastic cover. I mean one entire side of beads was all over the hallway for my little kindergartners to slip and fall on. It looks as if the nylon string that attaches to the magnetic clasp just detached without any assistance. I am so disappointed, I read other reviews where similar situations had occurred, but I thought, no, can't be...live and learn!*****************************************************************************I would like to update my previous review. I changed my rating from 1 star to 3 because even though I had very bad luck with this lanyard, the company proved that they stand behind their product. They did respond to my concern and happily replaced the lanyard. Best of all, I didn't even have to ask, they initiated the offer to replace it in exchange for a picture of the broken item. That is very good customer service, so they deserve a few more stars. Hopefully, the new lanyard will last a little longer, it really is beautiful!

The beading on this lanyard is nicely done. It doesn't look cheaply made and the jewels are colorful,but not flashy. It looks more "bohemian" if that makes sense. Now let's move to functionality. The hook that attaches my work badge is very sturdy, my badge is definitely not coming off. The lanyard itself seems relatively sturdy, however, you do have to keep in mind that this is not your typical heavy duty nylon lanyard and you do have to treat it as you would a necklace-with some degree of finesse; in other words, don't go yanking on it to test how resistant it is. All in all, it's a good quality product. It serves its purpose and has personality.

I work in a hospital--and I work, I don't sit on my butt staring at my pretty lanyard. The little plastic ring that held the badge holder on the lanyard broke within a week. I improvised and strung the lanyard through a thick buttoned plastic strip that my badge hung from. A few months later, the lanyard itself broke--beads went everywhere! I don't know why the magnet breakaway clasp in the back didn't come undone (as it had inconveniently so many other times). What I do know is I'm now wearing an ugly (but secure) red nylon lanyard and happier with it.

I love my beaded badge lanyard. It is very attractive and the magnet securing the breakaway connection is plenty strong. I would have given it 5 stars with the exception that it is too long. There must be a minimum standard length for lanyards, but I think that they should reconsider and make them a wee bit shorter. Say, 3-4 inches. I am fairly tall but with the badge extending below, this hangs a bit low. I knew it would be long as I shopped around and this is the shortest I could find. I tied an attractive overhand knot just above the badge clip. The length is perfect now. The clip that holds the badge is very sturdy as well as attractive. My daughter will be starting a new job soon and she's already asked if I will get her a badge lanyard like mine or another BooJee Beads lanyard. I certainly will.

I love the look of it but it fell apart very quickly and the seller refused to replace. Defective craftsmanship, I would not purchase from them.
