Fat girl approved! Worth every penny, sturdy, cute! See pic for proper wrist guard position!
5’3, 200 pounds, female, bought a largeStarted skating to lose weight and needed safety gear, was a little nervous since most of the reviews were for much thinner girls I was worried the wrist guards would break if I fell or the pads wouldn’t fit BUT I have fallen many times and the wrist guards are just fine (scratched from the asphalt, not cracked at all) as for the fitting of the equipment:Helmet- fully adjustable, very thin comfort lining that came loose but can be stuck back on with glue dots. Helmet is comfortable without it.Wrists- some reviews show them being worn upside down and on the wrong hand, my picture will show you the top view of my left guard. (Colored side down, Velcro up, thumb placed in the hole when guard is completely open) these have the shims on top and bottom which I really like but some may find the top one is unnecessary. They fit great, and are fully adjustable.Elbow pads- slide them on and strap them down, pretty standard, they fit great. I have average sized arms for my height, most of my weight is my lower body, but they do stretch a lot and I put them on my 5 foot 10 hubby and he could wear them comfortably.Knee pads- I have big thighs, and very muscular calves and these are the only things that I’m close to the max size on but I do still have plenty of room should I need to expand them. But if you also have wider calves and thighs you might need a size up, I have about an inch of wiggle room. (I wear a 1x in shorts, 18/20in pants and 8/8.5 in shoes for reference)Another thing is the knee pads feel a little strange when on and your leg is straight, but when skating and your knees are bent properly they are not even noticeable.TLDR- strong, sturdy, comfortable, light weight, highly adjustable, took a beating, wrist guard shim took 200 pounds falling on them, cute as frick!

Not thick thigh approved, but it can be made to work
I’m currently losing weight or I probably wouldn’t keep these specifically because the mesh sleeves in both the elbow and knee pads don’t fit. That being said, not putting those on and just bucking them with the elastic closures at the top and bottom works just fine it seems (and honestly, that’s how they were when I was a kid, since when did we add mesh to them??) Wrist guards are great, secure them hard plastic down to protect your palms when you fall. Seem sturdy enough to not break the first time you land on them full force but we’ll see. I’d rather the plastic break than my hand always. Comes with a mesh bag to store them in, you will have to bundle them up tightly for them to fit. Helmet is comfortable and very adjustable, once it’s tightened properly it stays on without the straps even when shaking your head with long hair down (you should still wear the straps, this is just how I was taught to check if the fit is correct). Very happy with the set, hopefully I’ll eventually get to try it with the mesh on instead of tucked in

Prefect protection
I’m 5 foot 2, weigh about 105-skinny legs and arms, and I got a medium and it’s perfect size! The helmet also has an adjustable back where if it feels loose you can adjust it to fit more snug (or less if you need). The hard part that provides the protection is really durable, I’ve falling a bunch roller skating because I’m really not good and it has saved me a few times from probable breaking my wrists or shattering a knee or elbow. These are great! A smaller size for me would have been too tight since these are decently snug and fitting. It also comes with a bag to keep it all together which is very useful and sweet they would include.

Definitely worth the price
The whole set was super cute and feels like pretty great quality. Considering the price I'm very happy with it. Thicker thighed adults be a little wary cause the kneepads might be tight for you on the top. They're not uncomfortable for me and I'm a size 6 in jeans but it's close to being too tight. The color is to die for and I love it for myself!! Very excited.

Makes me feel protected
I was debating on just going to walmart for protection as I get into skating but Im glad i went with this instead! I use the wrist guards and helmet the most but overall they are pretty comfortable and protect from fall. Easy to use and important as a beginner in most outdoor sports/activities. I ordered a large size as a young adult and they fit well.

Saved my wrists from breaking.
I used to be an avid skater when I was younger so I went and bought a pair of skates to use outdoors with my daughter. When I was in the store the owner was telling me a story of her friend and how you ALWAYS need to wear protective gear. I came home and went right on amazon and found this set in pink/large (5’2”, 140 lbs). The knee and elbow pads are very comfortable and firm fitting. They didn’t slip around and didn’t dig in either. The helmet fits perfectly as well. The strap on the wrist guards is too long for me but it held on just enough to save me. Within the first 2 minutes of skating I fell down a hill on my near (so much for being an avid skater once upon a time) and I’m fairly certain I would’ve broke my wrists from trying to catch my fall. Definitely broke my rear end!My only cons for this is that the mesh bag is a bit too slender. You also have to attach the velcro on the pads or it’ll snag on the thin mesh. Most sets don’t come with a bag so it’s not a deal breaker.

Good
Good pack for the price. Helmet is sturdy, but I wish the knee and elbow pads were thicker.
