Favorite mount so far.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I pretty much explain in my video, but the magney is strong and the mounts suction is strong. I love that it has a rubber dash mount. Previous ones have metal ones and it is hard to find a flat surface in my car.In the picture I have it holding my 10 Firetablet i will typically use it to hold my extra phone, passenger phones and on occasion my tablet.I also like it comes with 2 metal plates for your phone, tablet, or devices. The .agnet is coated with rubber, so no worries about scratching your devices if you cant see them at night.I may just get a few more of these for my families vehicles.Mount, suctions extra parts are all a win win!!!

Strong, steady, and durable.
I've got 4 kids. We live far away from grandma and grandpa. The kids like grandma and grandpa. The kids don't like 14 hours sitting in the car to get to grandma and grandpa. Some people have fancy entertainment systems in their cars to keep the minds of 4 crazy young children occupied. Not this guy. We finally broke down and got a tablet. Yes, one of those glorious glowing boxes that keeps children from hitting each other, screaming, or, surprisingly, needing to go to the bathroom every 90 minutes... Enter the second problem. How to attach tablet to car so children don't fight over it? Behold the Aukey dashboard suction cup magnetic magical device holder.... Now, I'm no stranger to devices of this nature. I've gotten the little ones that stick wherever you put them, the suction cups with the expanding holders that never seems to stay stuck to the window, even the adhesive kind that end up peeling off in the hot sun. Velcro kind that stick to the back of your seat, and hangers that attach to the headrest. This Aukey has been one-of-a-kind. I stuck it to a plastic part above the center console in my suburban, secretly taking bets with myself how long it would last on its own over the bumpy country roads we have to travel for 90 minutes just to arrive at a freeway. I was pleasantly surprised. It stayed there, thanks to a combination of the gummy base, with just enough stick to hold, and the suction cup, which works like suction cups should work. I wasn't satisfied with it just holding itself, or even a paltry iPhone, so I subjected it to the ultimate test: an iPad air, clad in so much plastic armor and screen protectors that it laughs in the face of a toddler's destructive power. The armored case easily doubles the weight of the iPad. I attached the little metal plate that comes with this fantastic magnetic mount, thinking it wouldn't even hold the iPad up. It did. And it kept holding. Mile after bumpy mile, until the dreaded 14 hours had passed. In that 700 mile stretch the iPad only slipped off the mount once (hitting a construction bump at 85 mph in a fully loaded suburban is a mighty obstacle indeed). The beauty of it slipping off is that I just grab it and thwack, it clicks right back onto the magnets and away we go. Nice work Aukey. You get all the stars. And my money. I bought a second for my other vehicle, because that's how awesome it is. Threw away all the other garbage ones I thought had been working until my eyes were opened.

Now I can text and drive without having to hold my phone
No, seriously, don't text and drive....So, I bought this just to use for gps when going places I'm not familiar with, which is almost never, so I mainly use it to hold my phone while driving so incase I get a call or text, I don't have to hold it. I own a Iphone XR, so when I speak about texting and driving, I just say "hey siri, send a text to name" then I tell her what to send, if i receive a reply, i just say "hey siri, read the newest text message", don't forget to say newest or you will end up listening to 30 minutes of texts from everyone. Anyways, this thing holds the phone even after hitting some nasty bumps in the road, although I been told to stop referring to people as, "nasty bumps". The only issue I have is with the magnet and my wireless charger at home, the magnet gets in the way of the charger doing its thing, so I place the magnet in the top corner oppsite of the camera lens, others it would never charge and I am way to lazy to plug the stupid cable in, if I could even find it. The magnet on the dash does stick to the metal case of the phone, but not good enough to keep it from falling off when you hit a bump.

Very nice...does not work with MagSafe iPhones if you’re wondering.
Really wanted this to work in a small space I have on my dash but it turned out to be just a little bit too big and I didn’t want to compromise and put it somewhere else so I wound up returning it.BUT, I will say I was very impressed with the packaging and quality of all the pieces. I can’t speak to the adhesion of the base but the suction on the cup is more than sufficient to hold everything in place. If you have an iPhone 12, the magnet is not enough to hold the phone in place. I have a 12 pro and while I could feel it gripping, it slides off with little effort so you’ll have to use the included metal plates to get a good adherence. There’s a small disk that fits right inside the MagSafe disk on the back of the phone, but it’s thick enough that it was hit or miss on my Qi charger. With the metal plate on the back of the phone adherence is super strong but still easy enough to remove without a lot of force. Very high quality for a low price. Wish it worked in the space I had.

Best car mount I’ve ever purchased!
I’ve never done reviews for things I purchase but this is one of the best, if not the best car mount I have ever purchased. I mounted it on my dash (2020 Honda Civic Hatchback) with out the extra sticker base (at first I wasn’t sure why I had an extra sticker base), I read through the reviews and questions other customers have put on here but then I figured it didn’t make a difference, as long as it sticks and it doesn’t fall off I don’t think you’ll need the sticker base but if you’re picky about being precise on instructions then you should use it, if I would have read the instructions I would have mounted it with the sticker base but I didn’t, but lots of people in the reviews didn’t use the sticker base so I’m not worried about it. As far as the magnet and the arm part goes, it works great! I have a magnet on my phone from a previous car mount I purchased awhile back and I’ve never taken it off my phone so I put my phone (iPhone 7 Plus) on this mount and it hold up so good! I love how you can maneuver it to your liking and it’s not stuck in one position! Definitely recommend this!
