Good
I really enjoyed the book. I think I actually read this a long time ago. I remember Elvis the dust bunny but had forgotten the rest of the story. I really like this series and hope for more books.

I loved it !!!!
Anytime Jayne writes about the planet Harmony, I will buy it. I like the ambiance of the tunnels and the psi powers. There are alot of similarities between AFTER GLOW and this novel I still enjoyed it. I read to be entertained and I was. The mystery was good and the story was OK, I liked the romance. I really enjoy the dust bunnies and their antics. I also find that we learn more about the governing of the Guild's with every new book in the series. I will still buy each and every book set on Harmony. Jayne Castle aka Jayne Ann Krentz is able to take me on a journey every time I read one of her novels.Sierra McIntyre is a reporter on the "Globe" of Harmony. Wild stories and wilder headlines, but she is seriously writeing about the Guild. She has very intense intution and has picked up tales of an alien lab being found in the jungle under Harmony. She is also worried for the burned out hunters, who are winding up on the street addicted to the new drug, ghost juice. Sierra comes from a very rich, prominent family. She is from a family of over-achievers.John Fontana is the Guild Boss of Crystal City. He is the new boss. The old boss was corrupt and Fontana can't trust anyone in his new administration. He is also born out of wedlock. Which is not a usual thing on Harmony. The ability to enter into a Marriage of Convenience or an MC, instead of a Covenent Marriage or CM, has virtually eleminated the birth of out of wedlock children. But Fontana is nothing if not driven. He has pulled himself up the Guild ladder to his new position. Finally Sierra manages to get an interview with Fontana. Both feel the sizzle when they meet. He convinces her he needs her help to find out what is happening in the Guild. He has been sent here with one other guy to staighten out the mess. He needs at least one more person he can trust. Sierra is friends with many of the hunters on the street, and many of her stories come from them. Fontana needs access to her informants.I like the way the story reveals each of the main charactes intermost feelings and thoughts. It opens up the romance and gives you a better understanding of these complicated people. I really did enjoy it and I am willing to spend the 8 dollars to be able to visit Harmony again.

Good
This fifth full length novel and sixth story in the series, features: Elvis the Dust Bunny, his companion; reporter Sierra McIntyre, and Ghost Hunter Guild Boss of Crystal City; John Fontana. When Sierra uncovers a rash of Ghost Hunter abductions, she wants the new guild boss of Crystal city to find the answers for her.Fontana is well aware that the previous guild boss was up to no good, unfortunately he is also certain that said guild boss was not working alone.Working together, the two of them find themselves having to avoid danger at every turn…This is another great book in the Harmony series by Jayne Castle. Filled with action and adventure, as well as a little romance and some dust bunny shenanigans, it’s an enjoyable addition to the series.Set in a different city from the other books in the series, we actually find some new characters, and some new alien discoveries.Although it works well as a standalone novel, it is best read as part of the Harmony series.Recommended for those who love sci-fi romance and paranormal romance.

Paranormal romance
LOVE this author and have read most of her books under different her pen names.A bit futuristic and paranormal but not enough to throw off the story. But if you don't love the dust bunny by first read, warning those fluffy cuties are in each and everyGhost Hunter series. These aren't especially long, but a quick sweet escape to another world.Wish there were more!

So great!
I've read several of Jayne Castle/Jayne Ann Krentz's books and this is one of my favorites. I like the love at first sight books but want to see the characters get to know each other before things get serious - this book has the best of both worlds. I also liked that the sex was minimal (there were only 2 or 3 scenes in the entire book) and there was a good balance between advancing the plot and still making the story a romance. The hero and heroine were smart and believable, and they both brought their strengths to the table to solve the problems. If you're looking for a fun read with likeable characters, then you'll probably enjoy this book!If you read and love it like I did, check out Deception Cove because it's similarly great!

Elvis is in the building
Reporter Sierra Mcintyre's stories on disappearing, homeless ghost hunters are of interest to the new ghost hunter guild president John Fontana. He fears a conspiracy in the guild. He has few he can trust so he turns to Sierra with an unusual proposal--marriage. Will she agree? Only if she gets the approval of her pet dust bunny Elvis. This one is lots of fun. I loved, loved, loved Elvis. This book for me was the perfect blend of suspense, romance, comedy, and likable characters. My one warning is to my friends out there who enjoy MANY love scenes in a romantic suspense novel as in most of Jayne Castle, aka Jayne Ann Krentz, aka Amanda Quick later works this book does deliver a few steamy scenes but that's it.

Just the right mix of romance and sci fi.
I have always enjoyed the Regency stories written by Amanda Quick, her stories in the Arcane Society are well worth reading. It was a short jump to reading her other books, written as - Jayne Castle and Jane Ann Krantz. All of her books are a good mix of romance, paranormal and gentle sci fi. They are not deep and meaningful books but they are pacy and well written stories. The characters are interesting and they are set in three distinct time frames -Regency, real time and the future.Depending on what series you read, you are introduced to couples, who feel instant attraction to each other, based on their psychic talents. Those talents enable them to solve psychic riddles, discover the murderer or just deal with local para psychical puzzles,Easy to read, well written with satisfying romantic conclusions - I am happy to keep buying books in all three series.
