Meinl Percussion Shaker Instrument — NOT MADE IN CHINA

I use this almost every day to add to the music I'm listening to and singing in the car. It goes with so many songs. The sound is great. Absolutely worth the money. Size is perfect, fits in my hand well and is easy to store. Has lasted a long time and seems like it'll keep lasting. Feels cheap because it's so light, but that's definitely not a bad thing. Works really well. Amazing purchase.

We have a three piece band and this is exactly what we needed to add a little spice and rhythm to the mix. The sound cuts right through but it's not overpowering and works perfectly with us. I was on the fence about spending a little extra for the double shaker or whether to go with a single and I'm so glad I chose the double. If you're band is lacking a little something extra and you want to add a lot without having to spend a large amount of money, go with this. It did the trick and we couldn't been happier. Would definitely purchase again if needed!

This is a good shaker, VERY light. That goes for weight and for sound. I was expecting, and hoping, for it to be louder. I might just get another one to stack on top to increase sound.

Muy cómodo de usar

I've been using one of these for many years, and when it finally began leaking the beads, I bought another. It's perfect for keeping a groove, especially when you don't need a very loud sound. It is very comfortable and lightweight to use, and unlike the other brand with the rubber bands holding the two parts together, I never have to worry about it twisting or coming apart! I don't have any use for splitting it up and using it as two separate pieces, if I wanted a pair of maracas, I'd buy them, but this is a shaker, and nice one...

I ordered the Artist Series Luis Conte Medium (Black) Shaker to use with an "amplified acoustic" act where I use a small cocktail drum kit. The Medium (Black) shaker was loud enough and sounded great. My band mates liked it very much and I really liked the versatility of the Artist Series Luis Conte Medium Shaker for different sound effects. I was even able to hold the shaker in combination with a stick on my hi-hat for a very cool shaker/hat effect.

Recensione dopo circa 3 anni di utilizzo. Molto leggero e comodo, di semplice utilizzo, ovviamente per chi ha un minimo di senso del ritmo. I tre colori disponibili non sono pensati per una scelta estetica: il grigio ha un suono più alto, il rosso più basso (adatto alle registrazioni in studio) mentre questo nero ha un suono intermedio, ottimo nel mio caso per live.

Nice percussion instrument. Very convenient to handle and the sound effect is lovely. I'd recommend this to anyone.
