They are the best! All 35 intact!
This company does an excellent job with these 50mm peat pellets. They are the way to go for all of my spring container planting. The price is worth it to me because I can’t stand when the mesh falls apart. I would rather pay a little bit more money and get the best. I have ordered many times from this company, and I will continue to order!

Easy to use germination plugs helps
decrease the time needed to setup the many tomatoes and flower seeds I started. Things got started late, but germinate easily. To transplant them, all, all I had to do was put the germination plugs within a hole and fill t hole with soil. No roots were traumatized at all!

These are handy
Good price and work great. Good for sunflower sprouting especially with a heat pad.

Works great. Remove the netting
Works great, just remove the netting when planting. They are technically biodegradable, but probably not in a short time such as one garden season, so it's best to remove it.Found this from the Jiffy website. What is PLA netting?PLA netting is a lightweight fine-fiber webmade of polylactic acid (PLA). This naturalplant based material is 100% fossil plasticfree, renewable and sustainable. PLA hasa 65% lower production carbon footprintcompared to polypropylene plastic.PLA nettingJIFFY SOLUTIONSPLA nettingOur solution to help you reduce plasticsHow does PLA perform?PLA netting does not degrade in the nursery, greenhouse, CEA (Controlled Environment Agriculture), or vertical farm settings. It will break down only upon disposal or at the end user when planted in the ground. Is PLA completely biodegradable? It is certified biodegradable and compostable undercontrolled conditions to European Norm EN13432.To break down, PLA netting needs the bacteria andfungi found in natural soils, plus heat and moisture.Teabags are commonlymade from PLA netting. The wider food industryuses it for bags and clamshell packages

Bigger pellets for better roots, 50 mm is the way to go.
So glad I was able to find the 50 mm large peat pellet refills. I have the larger pellet sized tray and refills are not easy to find, always the smaller 32 mm and 40 mm. The larger pellets mean your plants have more time and room to mature before transplanting or putting them into the ground. Those tiny pellets get root bound and dry out much too quickly. Although not necessary I still tear the material apart before planting, the smaller roots do have a hard time breaking through and these pellets have a bit thicker casing than the original. As shown in the picture, these things really expand and puff up. I use hot water and fill them in a tray, works faster than cold water. They will absorb a lot of water. I've used peat pellets for decades with 99% success in germinating seeds. Easy to use, easy to transport. Holds moisture under lamps well.

Check the depth that the seller advertises
CONS:They weren't labeled as a Jiffy product and look different, so I'm not sure if they are the real deal or not. When fully inflated with moisture, they are a lot shorter than my other Jiffy pellets of the same diameter. Not a lot of room for roots of seedlings to spread.
