I really wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about this book. I started it once, perhaps a year or more ago, but didn’t get very far because I am not a fan of bully romances. I finally came back to give it another try, however, and I am glad I did because I did enjoy it when he switched to something closer to obsessive adoration, though not really what you would call sweet.The story is interesting with enough mystery to keep me guessing. The characters are all at least somewhat liable, though I strangely had the most issues liking the heroine. I think it’s because even being in her head for the whole story, I still felt like I was struggling to really get to know her or empathize with her. But then, I don’t think she really knows herself, either, so that may play into it.The editing could certainly have been better. So many wrong words, missing words, awkward phrasing, etc. There may have been some instances of unfamiliar slang, but for the most part I believe they were mistakes.I am not known for having a good attention span for series, but I am very curious and would like to know what happens next.

I was super excited to read Aiden's story. He is quite the mystery. Kinda sad that this story is a two book story but it's so good. Rushing to read Steel Princess. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Aiden King and Elsa story is not what I was expecting. It’s even better! This book ends on a cliffhanger and I’ll be starting the next book right after I finish this review! I’m so invested in this I’m losing sleep over reading these books. Rina is a great story teller and I’m so excited to continue the journey through Rinaverse! Overall I gave the book 5/5 ⭐️ and 2/5 🌶️

I don’t usually like high-school romance but I have to say that I do like this one. The way it was written was great and I was worried that the dark concepts won’t mix well with the high school set up but it blended seamlessly with the story.I also like the sense mystery in this book cause it kept me invested and had me making theories left and right. At first, there were things that just didn’t make sense like their first meeting and Aiden’s volatile reaction to her but the more I read, the more some of it (not all) makes sense cause you can really feel the puzzle pieces slowly clicking into place despite a lot of it still missing.Aiden and Elsa’s chemistry is a little confusing for me. It’s certainly there and it’s so thick you can almost feel it taking over the entire room, but without all the answers, I can’t help but feel that the infatuation and obsession with Elsa couldn’t have begun just like that, cause it just doesn’t make sense! I mean, it’s not clicking for me at least (I know I’m slow, no need to come for my stupid ass 😆). Did his obsession grow from his resentment? Did they know each other back in the past? Was it obsession at first sight? I have so many questions and hopefully, the next book resolve it for me cause I won’t be able to move on from this book if I can’t make sense of this one 😩😆

Não teve UM SEGUNDO desse livro q eu não tenha amado!! O aiden e muito louco, doidinho da cabeça, MAS EU AMEI amei as interações deles, amei as falas, as coisas q eles fazem, TUDO TUDO achei q eu tinha acertado o plot mas levei um baque kkkkkk mas assim- não é tão original né? E a mesma coisa q um certo livro da própria rina 🙃🤨🧐 mesmo assim quero MUITO ver oq vai acontecer aaaaaaE assim- eu não deveria amar o jeito q o aiden trata ela, MAS EU AMO KKKKKKK AI COMO EU AMO UMA TOXIDADE 😍😍😍 esse casal vai ser muito bombástico mds (e uma Amg disse q a Elsa eh doida da cabeça tb ai aiEnfim, eu amei TUDO, prende muito, a escrita e SUPER fluida, parece q tem umas 200 páginas só, AMEI AMEI AMEI 😭

Omg!!! So I didn't realise this book wasn't a standalone (I try to go in blind where possible) so you can imagine my surprise when I was like 15 minutes from the end with soooo many questions that still needed answering haha!!I love that there are multiple books for Aiden and Elsa because I love them!!!This story is incredible and I cannot wait for more 😍

J’ai tout simplement adoré. Aiden est intense punaise. Il est autoritaire et intransigeant. La tension est présente, l’histoire est bien ficelée. La plume incroyable ! On ne voit pas venir la fin, on nous laisse sur cliffchanger de ouf et on a qu’une envie c’est de connaître la suite.Pour les français qui veulent le lire l’anglais et super abordable et fluide donc n’hésitez pas !
