Great for suspension work.
Purchased because I changed the steering rack in my 2011 BMW 328i and didn’t want to lose my straight reference point, though the rack is 3-turns side to side, I looked the steering wheel in place and made the job easy and made realignment easier for the alignment shop.

Not what I expected
I tow my car on a tow dolly and wanted this to hold the steering wheel since the newer cars no longer have a steering lock. This failed miserably. Maybe if you were holding the wheel while sitting still it would work, but certainly not for towing! Wasted my money!

Handy for alignments
Works well for holding the steering wheel during an alignment. However, this can't be installed with one hand very easily, unlike the Hunter steering wheel holder.

This may not be quite as nice, or maybe polishedis the word I'm looking for as say a Hunter,but it works perfectly and the price here onAmazon is hard to beat.PP4x4

not the beast tool in the box . this think is so cheep , it is not worth the money i paid for it . we will see how long it last...
