Great for a UV cure box!
I used this as part of my UV cure box. Basically it's a box that's lined with tin foil and a large UV light shining from the top. It's used to cure 3d prints made using UV-cured resin. This rotating platform allows the part to move around so it gets cured more evenly. So far it works great! The UV light does a good job of powering the turntable, and I haven't had any issues so far. If you're looking to do something similar then this will work for you!

Surprisingly strong!
I got this to display a rather heavy crystal prism and honestly did not expect it would work all that well because the crystal is maybe 1/2 a pound or more. It does have a way that you can use a battery, but I took the battery out last night and this morning as soon as the sum came up it was turning and making beautiful rainbow prisms- to the amusement of my cats. It has been going strong all day now. I'm quite impressed! I am wondering if I can use this to charge those watches that need to be rotated, so I will be trying that next.

Flimsy but good for what I need
I purchased this to aid in the curing of my 3d resin prints, and for what I need, it works well. The solar cells don't work particularly well indoors, but within my resin curing chamber it turns well off the UV light - no batteries required. Otherwise, some relatively good light is required or it can take minutes to complete one revolution. These things aren't the most durable things in the world, but they're not made to be moved around a lot - but for sitting in one place and spinning jewelry or small miniatures, they're fine.

Works as advertised
Nice way to display an item through spinning. Needs strong sunlight. Will work in a sunny window. Not anywhere without direct sunlight

Works, but flimsy
I haven't measured the plate yet, but I think the 90mm description accounts for some generous rounding. The solar cells are really weak, so it needs a battery indoors. The construction is so flimsy that the entire thing flexes and creaks getting a battery seated in there. It's worth keeping around to remind yourself, sometimes it's better to diy than buy.

Broke, but it's cheap so what did i expect
it's really cheap, so honestly you shouldn't expect too much for it. used it for a month or so and when it worked it was great value for money. attached some black velvet to the rotating bit for a bit more finesse and friction and it was great. needed to clean the black velvet and broke the thing with a lint roller... opened it up and there was a tiny piece of plastic tubing holding the rotating axle (that connects to a series of gears for torque) that just broke clean off. glued it back and still doesnt really work unfortunately, so maybe i also broke something else. if you want to get it it's really not awful when it works especially considering how cheap it is, but just know that the spinning bit is super delicate and dont exerct any force that is parallel to the base, does not take a lot of force to break it whatsoever

Perfect little turntable
Very light and super quiet in comparison to what some of these reviews say. If you're in a dead silent room you can hear it, but I leave it out to run all the time and I dont hear it over normal background noise. Perfect for turntables for resin curing. Turns with my plant UV light and my UV curer. Perfect for what I needed.

Amazing purchase!
Went to my local comic shops and no one was selling these rotating stands! I was happy to find them on Amazon and at such an affordable price. It makes a little quiet buzz when it rotates which I don't mind. It's solar so I leave it near my window. I would definitely buy again!
