NIX 10.1 Inch Digital Picture Frame (Non-WiFi) - Portrait or Landscape Stand, HD Resolution, Auto-Rotate, Remote Control - Mix Photos and Videos in The Same Slideshow

I've only had this for a day, but this is my second purchase of a Nix frame. The frame sets up quickly, not too many options to configure and so far is working nicely. The setup menu is simple and intuitive, and the pictures look great. I like that the stand can be used for either portrait or landscape, and that you can adjust the angle the frame stands at. I have mine changing every 3 minutes but you can set it up to change in seconds or hours or even days. Also I set the frames to turn off from midnight to 7am, but you can also set it to work on motion detection. They come with a remote that works okay, but really once you set this up you can just put the remote away. The frame knows the direction it is set up (portrait or landscape, which side is up or down) so it properly displays the photos. Normally I dont like stretching or filling a screen or background art, but in this can I used "fit" which zooms in on the photos to fill the frame since the dimensions of the screen may not be exactly the same as the photos you shot or scanned. It does a nice job and I'm really happy so far with the purchase.

This is a great digital frame to have if you have issues with WiFi connections. My work place has a severe lock down on connections being in a health care setting. Though many of their current products seem great, I can’t depend on the WiFi feature and connections to the app in order to have photos displayed at work. Bought a 128gb SD card, popped it in and it’s good to go.Very impressed with this product. Small ding on the picture display given that current phones are taking very high quality images now so this seems a small step behind, the addition of Live Photos now on most phones causes the screen to show black and not show anything as they are beyond the resolution video they display.Would love to see a non WiFi version of the higher resolution products become an option as well but I’ll admit this product is very much worth every penny and I’m super satisfied with this frame.

I use this photo frame to display images. Printing images is pricey, and then saving them in an album takes time and space. Rather than keep doing that, I settled on an electronic frame or two. I set up the 10 inch frame in roughly 5 minutes after reading through the direction. I am using a 32 GB SD card which is loaded with 2020 summer camping trip images taken with my Olympus and Canon camears and converted from RAW to jpeg. They were taken in RAW and converted to jpeg for purposes of display on the NIX. Popped in the card, plugged in the display, and it started the display within a few seconds. Made some setting adjustments, and it looks and works great. The frame is black plastic, but that works fine for us. The cost of this frame is reasonable. I did not get a wifi frame, because I did not want to mess with connectivity issues. This is simple and works well. Would make a great gift for less tech minded persons, like grandparents or elderly parents.

Works pretty well. Is a bit picky about some picture/video formats stored on the memory chip. Hangs up from time to time which requires a "reboot" (unplug power cord). Motion sensor works fine, the setup menu is pretty straightforward as long as you are even marginally tech savvy. Picture quality is pretty good too. All in all, a decent solution to display pics and vids of our long gone pets...

Using it for photos from past & present. Several different sources of photos. All display perfectly. Will probably not use the other features such as video or motion detector. I tried a different digital photo frame a month ago. Trying to set it up was very difficult & didn't work once I figured it out. This one was so simple it was practically plug & play. The picture quality is great. I LOVE this thing.

So this is my second Nix10 and also have 2 Nix 8. I have been very happy with product... though I am not very happy with the one I just received.... Amazon delivered it and outside box was not damaged. When I opened the Amazon box I immediately noticed the Nix box was torn and bulging. I wish I had taken a photo. The Digital frame was laying in box flipped with screen faced down when all others came with screen face up. Remote control was not in its plastic and battery strip had already been pulled. So this tells me I got a used Digital Frame. Very disappointed!!! Makes me wonder if something is wrong with it. Going to compare the image quality ans color to the one I have. Will be calling Amazon to discuss it. Sucks cuz I don’t want to deal with having to return item and reorder a new one... but I also don’t like the idea of having a used equipment. Not sure if an Amazon of Nix shipped product. Otherwise excited to have. I think Nik products are good quality, that’s why I have 4 of the frames

This frame is exactly what I was looking for. I spent a lot of time comparing photo frames and finally found this one. I wanted a frame where I could insert a USB, because I organize my photos into files on my laptop and then I wanted to just load them on a USB and play them in the order I had them organized. This frame does exactly that. I can control which files to play and which order to display the photos. I love the motion detection and I love having a remote because I didn't want finger prints all over the screen. I love that it displays photos and videos from the same folder. I can also stop and zoom in on a photo if I want to. The only thing I would do differently is get a bigger frame next time, although I'm not sure Nix offers this non-wi-fi version in a larger size.

Bought this to replace a dead Kodak M820. Wanted something with a bigger screen that would also take the usb stick already in use. Reviews seemed to point to Nix and I haven't been disappointed. Setup was as easy as plugging in the usb stick and powering up. I set the display for shuffle, random transitions, auto rotate and images/videos. Easy as pie.Bonus is the timer setting and motion detection.Shows all images and videos seamlessly which our old Kodak never did with greater clarity .Only niggle is that when there is an image that displays inverted or sideways for some reason the rotation applied to correct the orientation doesn't get stored for when the image shows again. This may be down to the default auto rotate setting but I don't want to turn it off because it would mean going through all the images and orienting them for display.Mounted on the wall and despite advice to the contrary the remote can still be magnetically attached behind the screen. Bit fiddly to remove and replace but once setup not really needed and stops it getting lost .
