Corelle Chip Resistant Dinner Plates, 6-Piece, Amalfi Verde

I bought this 18-pc set (Amalfi Verde) when moving since I grew up with Corelle and my family still has the same set from over 30 years ago with only the very rare broken plate (these are chip/drop-resistant, not completely unbreakable). The new Corelle patterns are super colorful and modern, and really fit a broader range of styles. I wish the pattern on the bowls matched the rest of the set a bit better, but I can live with it. I'm going to definitely be buying the salad plates, which I wish were included in the set rather than the appetizer sets (as I rarely use those but that's standard for any set nowadays). Color is true to image, and you really can't go wrong with these beautiful, fun plates that are lightweight AND durable to last many years.

These plates are such good quality. Do not worry about the fade etc. They come with a weathered look, which I personally like. Do not fade over time at all. Have had them for about 6 months now. Use them daily, and dishwasher them 3-4 times a week. Very impressed!Do not worry about the low rating. Sort them by lowest and you will notice people are complaining about receiving them damaged etc. I mean come on man... mistakes happen. They’re not gonna bubble wrap each and every plate for you and handle them like they’re some royal dinnerware. I have no idea what people’ expectations are these days. Amazon will fix it for you if you receive them damaged. Big hoo ha! Love a little people..

I replaced my chipped and scratched up Ikea dishes with this Corelle dishes and so far I like how they look and stack up. I had Corelle many years ago and my table got tipped over and there went my corelle dished smashed on a tile floor, so yes they can break if you throw them on the floor! I'm just hoping that they wont scratch up from silverware marks on the plates, I will update my review after using them for a while. These dishes that have design on them mix well with the winter frost white dishes, I love the feel of them, I'm glad i made the decision to purchase the dishes even though it became quite pricey because I had to get sets of six individual dinner plates,bowls, lunch plates because I couldn't get a set of what I wanted with the design I wanted, but now I have purchased a lot of Corelle!

This company makes great dishes. I only wish I had known about them a long time ago. For years I’ve been using nice but too heavy plates, bowls and everything else. These are nice and light-weight.

***REQUEST AMAZON PACKAGING SO THAT WAY YOU HAVE AN EXTRA LAYER OF PROTECTION*** I received mine with the box very beat up but all my dishes were safely packed within & in perfect condition. I hadn't owned Corelle in my adult life but grew up with it and knew it was a good durable option. So when my giant stoneware dishes took over the cabinet space with the children's dishes I remembered Corelle. My cabinets feel so much more spacious instead of crammed tight. I would give five stars, but tried to order set 2x to get the bowls right & that didn't pan out. Mine came with only one stripe. This was the entire set packed together in one tidy box so not sure what happened from the manufacturer. I don't like them, but didn't want to tote dishes back n forth & have them sitting around. The aqua and turquoise cups are also from Amazon - Triton tumblers. They are dishwasher safe and haven't clouded yet I'm really enjoying them. Mugs I ordered off a different site but those are Corelle stoneware. White mug is 15yrs old from WalM. Overall, if you don't hate the bowls with one stripe or are willing to take a gamble on which one you get, then the set is so pretty & easy & I'd still purchase again.

I grew up in a Corelle house so I knew that I'd need a set of my own once I had my own place. I couldn't find any designs in stores that I liked, but once I saw these I knew I had to have them. These plates are gorgeous and so durable. I'm kind of a klutz so shatter-resistance plates are a must for me. These have withstood a few "oops" moments already so I'm thinking they will be around for a long time.

Ordered these to coordinate with my winter-frost white dinner plates. These luncheon plates are beautiful and I am very happy to have them. Plain white can get boring and these luncheon size plates add a lively, fresh look to the table setting without breaking the bank by purchasing an entirely new set of dishes. This luncheon set was designed to coordinate with other sets of dinner plates that also have color but these dinner sets are way more expensive than the winter-frost white dinner set. Our winter-frost set is our mainstay set and they are in excellent condition so we will continue to use them along with this newer, livelier set of luncheon plates.

Ordered on March 16 and items arrived on March 23. I am so satisfied with it! I like the design a lot as it matches our home interiors. Though I had to order the salad plate separately to complete the set, but no regrets! Excited to use my first ever Corelle purchase!
