Locator Original Genuine Core Tool for Insertion and Removal of Locator Male Caps

Works great easy to use and helps alot with my inserts.

The Locator Core Tool is vert well made. I had ordered the Locator Core Tool, and the Locator Male Replacement Caps that I needed from Amazon. I have four post on top and four on the bottom. I watched the video because this is the first time that the nylon caps have been replaced so I had not seen my dentist do it. I changed all 8 caps in less than 10 minutes, and it was so easy. I saved myself not only money, but my time as well. I can replace the caps when ever I need to without the hassle of having to schedule an appointment and go into the office. I love the independence of being able to do it my self.

At first I was not able to remove the first one until I realize I was no perpendicular to the old insert and it popped out easily. Push real hard to be able to grab the old insert and removed with no problem. The second one was easier because I made sure the tool head was in the right angle and popped out easy. The insertion of the new ones was a breeze and can't imagine doing it with any other tool. It is solid machined and will last a long time. Heck it is designed for this process and yes paid for itself right away not having to go to a dentist . Awesomeness.

I have been changing out my own locator inserts for 2 years, and have always struggled with getting them out. Putting them in was not much of an ordeal, but using a dental pick to get them out was tiresome. I finally decided to splurge and get the *removal/insertion tool. I just put in a new set of 5# locators and it took all of 30 seconds, maybe a whole minute. The video on this listing was helpful as well. Although I know the process of taking out/putting in, this tool was a dream to use. so smooth and easy. And it came quickly, some of the other sellers might be cheaper, but the wait time on shipping was much longer. Thanks again for a great tool and video presentation!!

Expensive, made for a dental office not the home amateur. My dentist charges 100.00 to change 2 locators so it will easily pay for itself. Works great. A couple tips … watch the video…like the video hold denture in your hand, it’s much much easier than sitting the denture on a table or hard surface. And for removing old locator unscrew tip more than you think. Practice a few times with the old locator. It’s very simple once you get the hang of it.

Super easy to use. You loosen the tool until the tip can move, then you just push into into the existing o-ting thing, and it will snap into place, then you just pull back and it will cleanly remove the o-ring from the denture. after you remove them all and clean them, turn the tool around and use the other side to firmly push the new o-rings into place. Takes 5 seconds once you know what you are doing. Saves money which is nice, but the bigger deal is not having to make the appointment and sit in a lobby for an hour to have a teenager do it for you.

A little expensive, but worth it to save $45 the dentist charges to replace one locator! I got four locators on Amazon for $47! The locator tool is very easy to use! It doesn't come with instructions, but YouTube shows you how to use it! Great investment!

First off I am not a dentist. With that being said I want to give my review. I have a 4 post denture, I go in about twice a year to have my male inserts replaced and even with insurance it cost me $150 out of pocket. I researched and found the locator tool and male inserts. I bought and watched the video and did what he did. Guess what. . . It work perfectly. So now in the future this will cost me $30.for the inserts. Oh and through the search I found that there a Was different strengths available. I went with the purple or 8 lbs male insert, I can notice a big difference right of the bat. So again I will say that I am not a dentist. Learning a new skill was Exciting.

High quality, original tool from Zest. Easy to use, follow the video. Very nice saves me lots of money doing it myself.

Easy to change Zest male cup locator.

It does not pull the old nylon inserts. Watch video 3 times and follow. Still did not pull old nylon insert. I don't mind the price if working. In the video it looks like there is a suction if you unscrew the tip before pulling. The one that I received does not do that and no suction at all unless its missing a part inside the tip.
