They do work..invest in rechargeable aaa batteries
For the money they are worth it.inexpensive wireless head phones sound ok. Adjustable volume on headset. It can also tune in fm stations so you have to reset and tune in tv setting when u turn on.. buy rechargeable batteries.. I don't know if I buy power adapter that it will cause a buzz in phones. Haven't tried..works good with batteries..4 AAA

Must Have Shoulda Purchased Years Ago
This set is simply amazing use it daily my husband don't like to hear everyone's ipads and tvs so you hear nothing when I use this set I enjoy it great purchase great price very useful money well spent I would recommend everyone has one of these with a family multiple people in the house no noise. Just get rechargeable batteries and a charger set and you are good 2 go. Set on right mode on the monitor as well.

Excellent Sound and Distance - Through Walls!
I needed an inexpensive set of headphones to listen to T.V. Luckily the T.V. had a 3.5mm jack hole and a Red Audio Out jack available. The range in and around my house is amazing and includes sound when I am in the driveway! Again, in my rural area, the sound is clear and loud at low volume. The instructions were partially helpful. The first time I used them, I fumbled with the sequence to reach the T.V. sound. That is, I pressed the Re-Set button, followed by the Scan button. I had to press the Scan button several times, passing through a few local Radio stations (it is an FM transmitter) until I reached the sound from the T.V. After that first fumbling, I now turn the headphones on, press the Re-Set followed by pressing the Scan and I get the T.V. right away. As a few others have said, the Headphones and Transmitter both use AAA batteries. The first set of batteries lasted about 2.5 weeks with 3-4 hours a day of use. I did stretch out the transmitter batteries to where the red light went out. I was still able to get sound. Yes, the unit uses up batteries, so remember to turn off the Transmitter and the Headphones when not in use. These are a FANTASTIC buy for a modest price.

Unwanted radio signals over powers desired signal.
Works pretty much as described except has the bad feature of having desired channels overpowered by unwanted strong local radio signals. Headset has to be oriented and located properly to latch onto sender signal and avoid overpowering strong local radio signals.Once sender signal is locked in, it holds until headset is reoriented or repositioned. Sometimes only slightly, but more often fairly significantly. In an area without local radio stations nearby, the unit may work fine.

A value per dollar wireless tv headset
Sound quality is good. Overall a good value. I wished it had an auto audio change from the headset back to the TVs audio system, instead of having to flip the switch on the units tower. Just being a little lazy about. If this unit had this function, it would make it the best system available.

Loud noise
There is a super loud humming in back ground that will not go away no matter what. Annoying no use for them at this point. 😒
