Q: Does the light take a long time to turn on? I installed 4 and they all take at least 30 sec for the light to turn on when the switch is flipped.

We have two of these fans, both installed at pre-wired outlets for fans. We keep the wall switch on all the time and the lights go on/off instantly when the button is pushed. There is also a button on the remote for delayed Off. After you push that button the light dims slightly (to let you know it was activated) and after a minute the light goes out.

Q: Can anyone define corded, please?

Just saying needs electric to the fan not battery seems a little silly great fan
