I've been taking this along with Meridan Passage for a torn rotator cuff and it definitely takes the edge off the pain. I'm afraid of pharmaceutical pain killers because (a) they're addictive and (b) they effectively mask the pain so you can't tell if a particular motion hurts or not. Chinese herbs like this formula dull the pain and take away the sharpness of the pain, but it's still very obvious if I move in a way I shouldn't - so I feel like I'm not at risk of accidentally re-injuring myself. I advise seeing an acupuncturist or an herbalist if you want to take a Chinese formula because your underlying constitution has to be taken into account. For example, if you have "hot pain" this will make it worse! But there are other formulas that will help.

The product description fails to list one of the six ingredients that is on the bottle. Di Long which is EARTHWORM. No wonder they kept it secret.

No noticeable difference

I had no noted side effects and this formula helped to loosen up a frozen shoulder and sciatica related pain issues completely after about a week of taking. I will update if pain returns but very happy to have relief!
