My lenses were really grimy so I thought it was worth a try before buying new ones. It has worked really well. I use saline solution to clean them and I now find that the lenses are not uncomfortable by the eveningA great investment

Thought I would try one of these as opposed to cleaning my RGP lenses via hand method.It states comes with a manual, not so more a little pamphlet, but at least it's in English.But they don't say where to keep lid open when in use, if you close it's rather difficult,to see the lights because of lid not being clear, very quiet when in use.Not completely certain that charge lasts a month need to test that.......

I purchased this for my mini-scleral lenses to see if I could improve my lens cleaning regimen. Fortunately, they have exceeded my expectations! My lenses have never felt so comfortable and looked so sparkling clean (and this is coming from someone who takes every precaution when it comes to hand hygiene - even during normal times). I can honestly say that this is much better than cleaning them by hand. Simply put your lenses in the tray, fill each side up with your favourite lens cleaning solution (Boston Simplus in my case) and press 5 min or 2 min to begin. If you don't have tweezers for contact lenses, I would recommend them if you want to buy this product - it's much better to handle the lenses using tweezers than with your fingers. I usually do about 2.5 minutes per side of each lens so I flip them over mid-cycle with the tweezers and it works well.My only gripe with it is that the inner tray for the lenses is not removable so it's pretty awkward to clean that, but not impossible. I've just been cleaning it daily by rubbing each groove with a few drops of Boston simplus, rinsing it with some sterile saline and then letting it air dry for a bit.

Didn't find it made any difference to my Soft monthly (49% H2O) lenses (one is Toric). Rather flimsy and expensive. I broke the lid in the first couple of weeks. I hadn't realised that in addition to the ultrasonic cleaning that the product also warms up which *may* be why, in my experience, using the lowest setting over some weeks, I noticed that I had a huge increase with Lenses requiring replacement. As an aside, once I started using my little finger, rather that the index finger, to manually clean my Lenses I noticed a big improvement and dissapearance of the occasional "foggy" areas which I had occasionally noticed after a clean. Not sure if its due to the slightly softer nature of the "pinky" finger or the size of myhands, or both, but I now have a cleaning regime which gives me far better results than using this Ultrasonic Cleaner ever did.

I use “monthlies” contact lenses and I honestly thought that all you need to do was pop them into a lens cleaning solution overnight, and they would be cleaned. After all, the clue is in the name of the solution; “cleaning solution”. However, the more I read into the subject the more I learned that simply popping them into the solution overnight may not be the only thing that needs to be done. They actually need to be cleaned manually as it were. Some recommend simply wetting a lens in the solution and gently rubbing it in your hands. If I need to do that then I may as well get a proper cleaner for my lenses, and this is why I got this little device. I was persuaded by the good reviews here on Amazon and I have to say that I am vary pleased with it. Though it hasn’t changed my life for the better, as one or two seem to imply in their case, I do feel better knowing they have been cleansed properly. We all want to look after our eyes. Using the device is simple. Open the lid, place a few drops of any contact lens solution into each of the two wells, place a contact lens in each, turn on for 2 or 5 minutes, and close the lid. Once finished I then pop the lenses into my usual overnight pot. I am not sure if you can keep the lenses in this device overnight – certainly the instructions do not state you can do this, but then again it doesn’t state you can’t. Takes a few hours to fully charge the device, but once done you can unplug and use as you please. Just be aware that though the device comes with a usb lead, it does not actually come with a plug; but most of us have a plug with a usb socket in it, such as those used to charged mobile phones. The instructions also mention using “the tweezers” when handling the lenses, which makes it sound like tweezers come with the device, which it doesn’t. The device has two cleaning settings; 2 minutes and 5 minutes. The instructions suggest a daily clean on 2 minutes, with a weekly clean on 5.

Was quite happy with my first purchase of this item which I had for about six months until it suddenly burnt out it’s charger (and itself)! Seemed to clean my hybrid lenses well, using minimal solution and needed recharging every week or so. Rear hinge was very flimsy and broke within a couple of weeks but it didn’t affect performance. My second purchase to replace the burnt out one needed recharging before every use and within a couple of weeks wouldn’t charge at all. Went in the bin and was replaced by a different model completely (UpaClaire) which I’m delighted with. Wouldn’t recommend this one.

This device is great; I wear RGP lenses for keratoconus and my current pair (4 months old) feel like new after using this, much better that using fingers to clean them.The machine is simple to use but i’ve taken a star off because even with the lid closed, fluid leaks out if not laid flat and the vessel can’t be removed so it’s a bit awkward to clean. But after 20 years of lens wearing I will definitely continue with ultrasonic cleaners, can’t believe i’ve taken so long to try one!

I am fairly new to monthly contact lenses but found they were getting increasingly uncomfortable to wear daily. I did everything by the book and cleaned them everyday. Didn't make an ounce of difference. I thought I'd give this cleaner a go. In the short term they felt cleaner but ultimately I changed to disposables.

Très pratique à l'utilisation, nettoie parfaitement mes lentilles souples mensuelles. 2 minutes le soir après retrait, et 2 minutes aussi le matin avant de les remettre. Environ une semaine d' autonomie, mais marche aussi sur secteur. J' utilise une pince en silicone pour prendre les lentilles au fond des cuves, 2 gouttes de produit propre pour bien les rincer, et confort assuré. Très bon achat.

Ich war wirklich sehr skeptisch als ich mir dieses kleine Gerät bestellt habe, aber ich bin grundsätzlich gern bereit für Experimente.Heute ist es angekommen und ich habe es erstmal aufgeladen, was recht schnell ging.Das Experiment:Flüssigkeit rein, Kontaktlinsen rein und und auf Start gedrückt. Hier gibt es 2 Optionen ( 2min und 5min). Ich habe mich direkt für die 5min Option entschieden. Und das Experiment hat begonnen mit einem leisen surren. Nach 5 min habe ich dann ohne große Erwartungen meine Kontaktlinsen wieder eingesetzt, und musste feststellen das ich wohl längere Zeit halb blind durch die Welt gelaufen bin. meine kontaktlinsen waren super sauber.Eine klare Kaufempfehlung von mir

Nach Erhalt direkt geöffnet, inspiziert und getestet! Der Akku ist vorgeladen, Kabel und Utensilien (Pinzette und Sauger) extra verpackt, die Pinzette hat nen zusätzlichen Gummi-Schutz! Die Schalen für die KL sind auch Metal, machen einen guten Eindruck. Beim einschalten hört man das Gerät leise Summen (wenn man GANZ GENAU hinhört - ansonsten hört man nichts!)Ein kleiner negativ-Punkt: die Schalen sind komplett offen, also keine Schraubdeckel & der Grätedeckel ist nicht magnetisch fixiert, wodurch das öffnen etwas schwerer ist… ansonsten kann man sich meiner Meinung nach nicht beschweren….

Boa limpeza diária das lentes. Acho particularmente útil depois da prática desportiva.
