Plasterers Mate Plaster retarder Providing extratime for Working 5 sachets

I bought this to add to the dated plaster. As during the lock down multi finish became the new toilet roll and I refuse to pay the opportunistic over charging price. So I bought this instead.I added to the mix as instructed. Compare to when using out of date solely it does give an extended working time. However it still doesn't give you the reasonable time to work with it. This is not the products fault. However this proof the product works.

Was doing a big living room ceiling myself over rated and this worked a treat.👍🏻

Does what it’s supposed to if you use it properly. Was able to skim a massive ceiling on my own

I used 2 coats of plaster on my ceiling one with product and one without, setting times were identical, so this product made no difference.

Absolute rubbish, didn't slow down and if anything sped up the process.

I don't think the powder gives an extra hour working time. More like 30mins, which is fine as you should be able to level the plaster in this time.
