So I won't lie initially the thought of a soap shaped bar of conditioner initially didn't strike me as feasible in opposition to a traditional bottled conditioner product. Delighted to say I could not have been more wrong and I'm very happy to admit that. Over the past 10 years alongside being a vegetarian bordering more on the vegan since I was about 7 years old a whole 36 years I have transitioned away from any products involving or being tested on our better than most people furry counterparts. I wear very little make-up now in comparison to how much I did 10 years ago anyway, but every make-up product I use is cruelty free, every household cleaning product, wipes, antibacterial cleaner, washing detergent, washing up liquid, fabric conditioner and toilet cleaner all from cruelty free sustainable, vegan and biodegradable products. Shampoo and conditioner again sustainable, vegan and cruelty free. However having very sensitive skin the shampoos and conditioners despite being all these conscience easing things have not been at all kind to my scalp and although I don't use any products on my scalp or in my hair, simply using vegan natural and cruelty free shampoo and conditioner products was still breaking out my scalp very badly. That's when I stumbled upon The Friendly Soap Company and purchased both a shampoo bar and a conditioner bar. I've used them both and the shampoo bar has amazing lather, gorgeous but not overpowering fragrance and left my hair feeling cleaner than any product I've ever used. Onto the conditioner bar this is the one I was most sceptical about and again humbly I admit this conditioner bar took out all tangles, made my hair feel amazing, soft but not weighed down like a traditional bottled conditioner does. I was so impressed by both bars I went to The Friendly Soap Company website directly and purchased a shampoo and conditioner set consisting of two bars of shampoo and two of conditioner in different fragrances for an excellent sale price and I also purchased two bars of body soap. That should say my level of confidence in their products already after just one use. I also adore the sustainability of there products in recyclable cardboard and any plastic that may be used is biodegradable, products are not tested on animals hugely important, almost 100% natural ingredients, very affordable prices and they take up far less space on my wheeled bathroom trolley. Winning all over the place in my opinion. And over and above all of these benefits my scalp feels 100% improved already, no itching, burning and no more dandruff. It was easier to straighten my hair it was less flyaway than normal than with other products and I have very long thick naturally curly hair which I often bleach and dye, and at times I haven't treated it as well as I should have. Really on board with this company now and having bought a few products from another UK seller of very similar products they are nice but they just aren't quite as nice as Friendly Soap. I'll be sticking with this company from now on, excellent products that smell gorgeous work brilliantly don't cost a body part donation and deliver themselves very quickly and efficiently directly from their website. I haven't had a chance to use it just yet but one of the main reasons I switched to bar soap/conditioner was to avoid using plastic. It comes in a box but it is inside a plastic bag.

It had to be lathered up more on the first use. On second use it lathered up more freely. Smells very natural. It left my hair feeling very soft and frizz free. Mostly I will no longer need to buy plastic bottles which damage our eco system. I definitely will not go back to plastic bottles. This is far more the natural choice for me.

Good quality conditioner bar. Hope the price more affordable but it is very long lasting. Put the bar in a mug of warm water (shower temperature) and leave it for 2-4 min then the water turns a bit white. Apply to the tips of hair and then other parts of hair and massage well. then rinse. Beware after using this bar the floor of the shower (or bath tub) becomes very slippery.

The conditioner feels very light and left my hair feeling soft

I carefully read instructions and recommendations in the reviews, I made sure to thoroughly rinse but couldn’t manage to not get a greasy feel… avoid your roots at all cost!Not very conditioning and although no plastic is great, the amount of extra water you need to really rinse properly is outrageous…Also the application is very difficult as the bar completely melts in your fingers and doesn’t really adhere to hair especially compared to other bars.The scent is ok and I really thought I would love the product, I tried so hard different ways to apply and rinse but I have to admit defeat… I would not recommend it at all

I bought this because I wanted to cut down my consumption of plastic packaging and products containing chemical nasties. I have shoulder-length hair and have been using this conditioner for a few years now. It works perfectly for me, and my teenage son enjoys using it too. It does not leave my hair feeling greasy and has a nice scent that is not over powering. One bar lasts a surprisingly long time, although I appreciate this will depend on how often you wash your hair. I like that the packaging is compostable / recyclable. Happy customer all round.

This is the worst conditioner bar I have tried and I have used 3 others. It's hard and impossible to apply. If you do manage to use it, the conditioning effect seems limited.

I bought this because I am trying to use less plastic and I liked the scent profile. I used it as a bar a few times but found my hair seemed greasy afterwards. I followed the directions and melted the whole bar into liquid form. But, I didn't use it very often and looked in the bottle one day to find mold growing on the top (after all, it IS preservative free!). I scraped off the mold and started storing it in the refrigerator, and there is no more mold. Next time, I will cut the bar into smaller pieces and only melt a little at a time. All in all, I recommend!

This product was not exactly what I expected. I was looking for a conditioning bar that I would apply directly to my hair. However when I received this package I read the label and the instructions indicate that the bar should be dissolved in water. I think this is why several reviews mention greasy hair. The bar was not meant to be directly applied to the head. I did try it that way and the result was not favorable. Additionally when applied directly to the hair the bar is used up very quickly. So, long story short, if you're looking to dissolve you're conditioner in water and apply that way then this is probably a good purchase for you. If you're looking for a bar to apply to your hair this might not be the one. I'm giving a five star rating based on how I feel the product would have worked if you use correctly. Seems like a good quality product and it smells very nice.

Prodotto che sostituisce il balsamo per capelli. Prodotto naturale e plastic free. Buon profumo per i miei gusti. È arrivato leggermente deformato probabilmente per il caldo patito nel trasporto.

Profumazione piacevole, lascia i capelli districati e morbidi.Comodo da viaggioNon proprio economico, ma se pensate che spesso per dei buoni conditioner si spende anche il doppio, direi che il rapporto qualità prezzo e ottimo.Forse non ideale per capelli grassi o fini che probabilmente si appesantiscono, invece ideale per i miei cappelli ricci e secchi

Nur leider nicht gesehen, dass es aus GB, was nichts negatives ist. Der Conditioner ist wirklich super. Man kann ihn auch selbst zu flüssigem machen, ich bevorzuge jedoch die feste Form.
