Unfortunately, I had to send it back because it would not stay open. I don't know about you other clarinetists out there, but I need 2 hands to assemble my instrument. I don't have one to spare to hold the lid of the case open. As a work around, I tried a 14 inch stick that's used to stir paint to hold the lid open. This worked, but then I thought, "At this price, the case should stay open on it's own," and I sent it back.
