I am extremely happy with this recorder. It is so easy to use. I've had a Sony ICDPX470 in the past, but it unfortunately ended up in the washing machine. My adventure with two others failed, and now that my fingers are burnt I will not try other brand.

Fails to save audio (occationally)
Had the recorder for a while now. Largely works great but on two occations the recording has failed to save losing hours of important recordings. Recovery programs failed to save the data because the temporary save file is overridden by the next recording. Do not recommend if you want to be certain something has recorded!

NOT GOOD FOR NOISY NEIGHBOURS
I brought this recorder device for my noisy neighbours. I saw some good reviews for noisy neighbours however I would not recommend this for recording device for noisy neighbours. I live in an attached house and I tried recording the noise from my house exactly where our houses are attached, exactly where the noise is occurring next to my walls. The recording device is at close proximity of the noise and the noise is loud. But there's too much noise of the actual device. When I playback the recording all I could hear was the static noise of the actual recorder. I couldn't hear anything else. it was just static noises of the actual device. No noise from my neighbours was recorded. This was very disappointing. The static noise of the recorder is very overwhelming that hardly any noise is actually recorded. Overall would not recommend for noisy neighbours and disappointed overall.
