It does what it says. It is actually a repeat order for me. The last one didn’t retain the suction and fell to the shower base with a loaded shower head and the body crackedWhen I go away I’m future I will take it down.It does come with an adhesive pad which I guess is for tiles that aren’t smooth.My tiles are smooth and I want the suction mounting method.

Loved this as the hand held I have fixed to the wall only has one position. This enables me to use the shower any height or angle I like. It sticks well to the shower wall which is smooth tile.

I purchased this item as it promised easy installation without damaging my walls. Even though it was supposed to be working on suction power it came with a sticky pad, which is not what I wanted. Installing the item: I could not place it on the wall intended, as this meant the shower head was completely upright and therefore no use to anyone. Eventually, when I found the correct place in order to actually use it as a shower (for whoch it was intended) pushing the leaver to fix it to the wall was quite difficult I also couldn’t leave the shower head in this device as even though it stated that it would hold up to 2.5 kg (which my shower head is not) it would not stay in place. I left the holder on the wall without the shower head but it continuously fell off the wall and I didn’t want to use the sticky pad as I did not want to have any residue left on my tiles. All in all I would not recommend this item

I bought this for my wife who uses a shower seat, and it’s been really useful overall. The suction is strong as long as the surface is clean and smooth, and it’s easy to install without needing any tools. The only downside is the angle—it’s a bit awkward to position properly, and if you try to use it like in the product photo, it ends up spraying too far or straight at you. Still, it’s a handy solution for seated showering, just takes a bit of fiddling to get right.

The suction power was better than I expected but the angle was less adjustable than expected.I don't think I would ever 100% trust any suction cup to work under constant weight long term, but as this was bought to slightly relocate our shower head and so the hose is still attached to the original rail, we didn't need to worry too much about the consequences if the suction gave way, but I was pleasantly surprised. It also came with a double sided sticker pad for trickier surfaces.It has been in use for a few weeks with no problems but with any suction cup I'd recommend removing and reattaching it every month or so to refresh the suction power.The range of adjustment up and down (at right angles to the wall) is quite limited. It rotates parallel to the wall with a good range of motion. This allowed us to get the angle we needed, albeit at an odd sideways angle, but your mileage may vary.Note that I would recommend attaching this with the lever at the bottom. Having it at the top would allow you to angle it downwards a bit, it would loosen the suction and the weight of the shower could easily pull it down causing the suction to release.As we are in rental accommodation, changing the fixture permanently was not an option. So this suited us well and, overall, I'm happy with it for our purposes.

This was second I purchased first lasted three months then ball joint fell out impossible to fix, I ordered again thinking it was just a fluke but this one broke taking out the box certainly not purchase again.
