Great improvement over the original Starbucks model
After six years with the original Starbucks model, I was getting plenty of internal leaks and one of five pods made their coffee on the inside of the unit. (Original adopters should know exactly what I am saying.) Upon opening the box, I was happy with the upgrades all around. The unit is heavier; the cup holder unit is substantial; the buttons make more sense. I was bummed with the first few cups, but after priming, the unit started to work perfectly. The coffee tastes great, the internal coffee leak loss is probably less than 3%, and IT IS QUIET. When I used the old unit, I needed to close the kitchen doors to avoid waking up the late sleepers upstairs. For $150, I recommend this unit highly. If I get six years out of this one... bargain. You should know that a cup takes 60 seconds. I think it is a little slower than the old unit, but you are brewing coffee after all. Worth noting, I use espresso pods but run them using the coffee setting. The instructions warn you against this, but I am surviving...Oh - the large water tank is another great improvement.

[Updated] Supports Verismo!
I am updating my rating/review as I did not originally see the K-fee logo on the starbucks Verismo pod's box. It is indeed there and the Verismo pods did work perfectly with the K-fee Twins machine. Here is my rating:(on a scale of 1-5, 5 being best)Ease of Use - 5. The device was easy to set up and get brewing as the instructions were clear.Speed & tank size - 5. Brews a cup of coffee as quick as I need it and the tank is large enough for multiple cups.Design - 4. It looks sleek, but the drip tray is too small and my standard coffee mug hangs over slightly. You can remove the tray, but that seems to defeat the purpose. K-fee should increase the size on future models.Programing - 5. Programming the cup size was very easy. No issues so far.Versatility - 5. Has an espresso pod, brewed pod, milk pod, hot water, and rinse function. All that I need.Cleaning - 5. I have not descaled, but it seems that cleaning will be relatively simple.Value - 4. I think it's a good value compared to similar products.Overall - I would rate this a 5 given its' versatility, appearance, and ease of use. It got the job done with little effort.

GOT $4-$7 for a cup of coffee AT HONE?
I did my homework on this machine befire I purchased. I was impressed with the look; I was impressed with the functionality. HOWEVER, nowhere did I read a notification or review that warned the buyer about what type of coffee pods were compatible to thus machine. Price if brewing system comparable to Keurig (I have one … brand new and I get tepid tea water when I brew a cup of coffee! Needless to say, I have PLENTY of K-pods.I received my K-FEE TwinII system today. As I opened the box, a slip of paper fell out first. It advised the buyer that thus system required ta pod, specific to the K-FEE brewing system; the Starbucks “Verisimo” pods were the ONLY compatible pid to tge K-FEE system.NO PROBLEM, I tell myself (despite the fact that I have a boatload of K-cup pods. I happily go to Amazon to irder the appropriate pods. Of all the K-FEE pod listed m, only the decaf were available in the K-Fee store thru Amazon … $51 for 24 cups of DECAF coffee? I never order DECAF espresso, Latte, or Cappuccinos. A) I don’t care for the taste of decaf coffee and B) I drink coffee mostly for the fact that it helps me stay alert and focused.NEXT: I’m in the Starbucks store on Amazon: Verisimo pods are $98 for 24 single serving pods … that’s nearly $4/cup … more research to discover if that price goes down with a larger quantity of pods purchased. NOT … price is $469 for 72 pods! NEARLY $7/cup! To drink a coffee treat AT HOME!? I don’t pay that much for a coffee treat at a fine restaurant, unless I have ordered an alcoholic beverage.I’m going to return this K-FEE brewing system to Amazon and demand a refund. How unfortunate every single serve brewing system that makes specialty coffees has a pod specific to that brewing system, EXCEPT KEURIG. I’ll stick with my stove top brewing system for coffee treats & heat my tepid tea water coffee from Keurig in my microwave. Thanks.

Great Espresso, Maybe Not for Daily Use
I LOVE this espresso machine. Easy to use, easy to clean. This is my third one (they seem to last about 2 years if used daily and cleaned when needed). My only complaint is the cost of most of the k-Fee pods. I could no longer justify the monthly cost of my habit so I switched back to a drip brewer. I use this machine to make an occasional, wonderful espresso drink. By the way, don’t use the milk pods made for this machine -they taste hideous. I bought a Miroco detachable electric milk frother, which I very highly recommend.

The color is not copper
I was expecting Copper but it’s more of a brown color than copper. Not bad looking, but when they say copper color, it should be copper color.

Truly fantastic
I bought one for my sister in law for Christmas because I live mine so much. I use it daily, have for the last 2 years and it has never failed. Heats up quick and makes a great cup of coffee or espresso.

Going back to Keurig
This coffee pot was very beautiful but very disappointing. Every other time I used it, half the cup of coffee would end up brewing into the used cup tray as pictured. It brewed a different amount of coffee each time even though I used the same button. I had to restore the factory settings twice. If you’re not careful, brand new cups will drop into the used cup tray when you insert them into the machine to brew. You can’t really find the compatible cups in grocery stores and when you do there is a very limited variety…this is true for ordering the cups online. It’s a finicky machine and I am going back to the easy to use Keurig.
