brilliant waterproof boot. jusy about to order a new pair, as ive worn these daily for 18 months of walks/hikes and the soles are about gone. best boots ive ever had, outdoing brands at 4x price

Fits well as described. There are 2 small snags as shown in the pictures, does not me. Scuff marks and the pull tab is slightly frayed. I have yet to wear it on my long walks to check out the comfort and if anything else that needs highlighting. Will update if needed.Further to my earlier review, I have now worn the shoes on a day to day basis, involving a lot of walking. It is comfortable and very especially on rainy days, warm and dry! note that I did spray one those 'waterproof' stuff over the boots

Overall a great comfortable tac boot.Bit heavy on the knees for any unprepared trekking, work into these as your Sunday trippersGood strong feel to workmanship.Problem with fire - If near sparks or even just close up to heat the laces, tongue and most of the upper are extremely flammable. I need new laces after first wear and Tongue got a massive hot rock on second.So probably not great for camping in Fall/ WinterI slipped in a smear of gasoline on paving brick... - No harm done but alerted the perp we were coming in.

When I first got them u thought they were very comfortable but after only 3 uses they have torn as show in my pictures. They could have been great boots I was enjoying but they didn't last 3 uses.

This is my third pair, good resistant, fairly water proof, and confortable.

If you are looking for a rugged but comfortable tactical boot at a price affordable against some of the top brands then buy these and never look back

So today was time to get the araldite out to try to eke a few more days use out of these boots. Sole has parted company with the uppers on the right boot for about 30% of the perimeter.They have lasted just over 7 months, but it's probably my fault for actually walking in them and expecting them to last.After all I walk the dogs for about 5 miles a day in them so I've actually got just over a thousand miles completed while wearing them.Seems to be about par for the course as the previous boots I had (NORTIV 8 Men's Waterproof Hiking Boots) lasted pretty much the same length of time.Then I look back to the safety boots I used to wear for work (and also walk the dogs in ) and wonder why you can't buy them any more.The answer must be that they used to last 2 to 3 years of abuse without falling apart, explains why they are no longer available I suppose.So to sum up theses boots are quite comfortable, but don't expect to use them for lots of walking as they won't last too long.
