Jun-Saxifragelec For Raspberry Pi 4 Screen, 5 Inch HDMI Capacitive Touch Screen Monitor - HD LCD Screen 800x600 (Support Pi 4 and Pi 3B+, Windows)

Bought this to connect to my PS4 - I don’t have space for a tv so I usually use its wifi streaming feature with my laptop, however I needed a little hdmi screen to connect traditionally to install updates etc. Screen comparable to a large smartphone screen so a little hard to read text that would already be small on a pc/tv scaled down but does the job, plug in and play, and the picture quality is surprisingly good for the size!

Perfect for a DIY PC sensor panel. I accidentally got the dimensions wrong on the SSD mounts for my case and thought they'd match the mounting points of the monitor (which is why it's zip tied). Would've been 5 stars if the monitor came with an enclosure or at least a protective backplate for the exposed PCB.

Product looked good .but wasn't wet I thought I had ordered,,but if I was to get one or these screens ,i would go for this one,

I bought this thinking I could use touch screen with dual display to use the monitor like a spotify control panel but unfortunately when I connected it to a dual display the touch screen is only working on my main display

To start, the back of the screen has no cover, all of the parts are uncovered ready to be damaged. It also shios with a 10 centimeter HDMI to Mini HDMI cable with is conpletely pointless as the screen has no mini hdmi port, and there is no viable reason you would go from hdmi on this screen to a mini hdmi with a 10cm cable. Very poor all round, probably factory throwaway units being sold as fully functional. Will update when screen breaks. UPDATE. After 2 weeks screen is broken. SCAM

I can play my gaming consol on this mini screen! It may sound weird, but I actually needed this!

Good screen , it works with the raspbian image given by the seller , haven't tried with other operating system .View angle are not great but at this price can't complain . Touch very responsive and it takes power form USB.

The display itself works, and has a goot brightness. However, I bought it with the intention to use it as a touch screen, and that part seems to be broken.

Nice screen some can be used as a second screen for PC gaming, to show thermals et al. But there is no mini. HDMI port on the screen, the accompanied HDMI cable has a mini-hdmi contact at one end. I do not have a mini-hdmi port on my PC. So I will have to now purchase a HDMI cable, longer.Bra skärm som kan användas som en andra skärm för PC-spel, för att visa temperaturen et al. Bought this screen to use as an AIDA64 sensor panel inside my pc. It worked right out of the box when I plugged it in. Windows detected the monitor as 800x480 at 60hz. The HDMI and USB-power connections are all on the same side, which is a plus since that means you can route the cables in the same direction.The image quality is decent; viewing angles are fine except from a top/down angle, which completely inverts the image. Colour reproduction is fine, but I don't think it's an 8-bit panel since there's some very obvious colour banding in gradients. It's a cheap LCD and you can tell. The average smart phone IPS screen is much better. There is NO backlight bleeding, though, which was a nice surprise.Talking about the backlight; the bezel surrounding the LCD doesn't completely cover the PCB, which means it also doesn't completely cover/hide the backlight module. This is pretty annoying, since you can see the backlight shining bright-white on top of the display (or on the bottom, depending on your chosen orientation) and the backlight bleeds out on the environment. I have to buy (or make) a sort of enclosure/case to make sure everything looks tidy.The screen has a little press button on the PCB that controls the backlight's intensity, allowing you to change the screen's brightness in a few increments. It's a pretty bright LCD, so that's a nice feature to have. There's also a second USB-out port labelled "Touch", although both USB-out ports are labelled "Touch", so I honestly have no idea what the second one does. The touchscreen works fine when I plug a micro-USB into the port next to the HDMI-out, so I guess I don't need the second port.All in all, it's a decent DIY part that's a little rough around the edges and needs some finishing touches to make it shine. I don't have any Waveshare or Elecrow screens to compare this one to, so I have no idea how its performance stacks up. If you look at the PCB, it looks like a direct clone from a Waveshare design, though. I would recommend this to you if you're looking for a cheap little display, but do temper your expectations. :)
