Pack of 2 Cast Iron Pie Cooker Campfire Sandwich Maker

The media could not be loaded. These were great. My family and I have used them quite a few times now. Teenage boys and younger boys. They withstand the burnt bread and the heavy drop into the fire from a young boy. They don't require any cleaning other than a wipe with a paper towel and they make perfect samies with the Walmart square loaf bread. (If you're making mountain pies, you're probably not using quality gourmet bread anyway, am I right?) You're definitely getting your money's worth with these.

Just used one of the pair and it all ready melted a little. The threads are done very well so they come loose very easily. The clamp to hold them together is loose and useless as well. The cast iron seems good quality but overall I wouldn’t buy. They hardly work because you can secure it tight

Although it is a good product, and works well, what I do not understand is the fact that the item description says a pack of two (2)??? There is only one (1). Very misleading!

Great quality pie irons! They’re nice and sturdy, easy to use (from seasoning them/initial use to cleanup), and are very versatile! We make everything from grilled cheese to campfire pies and everything turns out golden and delicious! They make great gifts too, either in a camping-themed gift basket, or by themselves!

This is the quality I was looking for in a campfire pie maker. It is sturdy and heavy duty. I have purchased several in the past from outdoor retail chain stores that were not very good. I think these will last for many years.

These are really cool to use but they have their drawbacks. You have to use them a number of times to get the hang of it. Also, you'll have to oil them about 10 times and season them to keep everything from sticking. I looked away for about 2 minutes and the dang thing slipped a little closer to the fire and burned the handle. Then my husband left them outside in the weather for a couple of weeks and now the handles on both of them are destroyed. The handles are not durable AT ALL. Certainly those were our mistakes but my point is you have to be really careful with them.I'm going to find something to try to fix the handles and then seal them with silicone and some sealant.The actual cast iron is great! And the metal extensions work fine too. It's the wooden handles that are not durable at all. I suggest you seal them with some type of waterproof wood sealant.

To heavy for almost everyone in my family to use safety. Not fun to use…..

they should be soled as a unit you need tow pieces for cooking normally when their is two it is two c complete

The product is described as "Pack of 2". Was there supposed to be 2 pie irons? If so I only received 1.

The product itself was okay but the handles weren't very sturdy and one was cracked. The return was easy enough except the cost of $22 to have nothing. Heads up.
