Don’t use Schedule 40 pvc it won’t fit
Great product; follow the instructions and don’t use PVC glue. Use silicone caulk

Not much to it, but it's perfect for what I needed
These are also available at Home Depot and Menard's, maybe Lowe's too. I put a 10' Spee-D trench drain in my driveway in front of the garage and used this adapter to connect 4" PVC drain pipe. It fit perfectly on everything.

Too many compromises in design
Other reviewers seem to have had a better experience with this than I did. I put a trench drain at the end of an asphalt area to catch runoff. Problems I ran into:- NDS claims that the Spee-D parts are PVC and you can use regular PVC cement with them, but their compound does not react at all like any PVC pipe that I've worked with, and the cement did not set up quickly or make strong bonds.- This end cap drain is definitely NOT made for connecting to corrugated drain pipe. I believe it fits sewer & drain pipe, which is probably better if you're putting it under a driveway (although I'm not sure why you would since presumably the trench drain went across the driveway). I checked the big box stores, irrigation supply, and a pipe store, and none of them had anything that would adapt from the 3" fitting on this cap to 3" corrugated drain pipe. It would be really helpful if NDS provided some easy-to-find information on how to connect to this and where to get that adapter. I also have the Spee-D drain section with the bottom outlet, and 3" corrugated fit perfectly and snugly. Why they couldn't do that with this piece I don't know.
