Brooks Womens Ghost 12 Running Shoe

Have had ghost 12 - amazing. No other ghost can compare. The support in feet and back is unsurpassed. I have other brooks but ALSO BUT my experience the other brooks do not stack up to the ghost 12. Don’t know why they deviated from the 12’s perfection. Ian a distance walker and I’mOn my feet for years at my work. I am beyond happy I was able to get them on Amazon ! Brand new in my size and they are so pretty too. I’ve had my previous pair for 5 years. They are still going fine but ohhhhh the comfort of a new pair. LOVE THEM

This shoe was recommended to me by my podiatrist. I have been having trouble with the toenails on my left foot. I went to see the Dr and after sending in clippings of my nails to a high tech lab, the results were that there was nothing that was causing my nails to look bad except that I wasn't wearing the best shoes for my feet. I bought the shoes and had to get 2 sizes larger than I usually wear because the shoe runs small, contrary to what the suggestion shows on the websites. I still have to take the pills the Dr gave me and treat my nails at home with a special treatment. But the shoes fit perfectly now! I love the style and color. They are very comfortable. The company is now making Ghost 13 shoes but other people are complaining that the new shoe doesn't fit correctly and are uncomfortable. I bought a 2nd pair of my same shoe so that I can continue wearing them for a long time.

A few decades ago, I ran seriously. I also injured myself with standard running injuries at regular intervals and eventually stopped running. I decided that I would take up running again and realized I needed to get a better shoe than the bargain shoes I'd been using to walk the dogs or to give me support on nice surfaces like soccer turf or dirt. Since I weigh anywhere from 145-155 lbs, I am a "heavy" runner. I am also late middle aged, and my knees, while still the original equipment, aren't nearly as resilient as they once were.The Ghost 12 was recommended as having the kind of cushioning I wanted as well as the stability I needed. I am a mild pronator. I typically wear a women's size 9 and that's what I ordered. It is on the small side of 9, but a 9.5 would have been too large.I am very happy with the purchase. I enjoy the stretchy lace. My shoelaces didn't become untied once! My run was smooth and I felt as if I could have run much farther. This is the first good running shoes I've had in ages. I will definitely be getting another pair of these.

I've had 2 previous pairs of Ghost shoes - the 10s and the 11s and I've loved them both. But from the moment I put these on there are BIG Noticeable differences. They are even softer. more cushiony than before. If you thought you were walking on clouds with the previous models, wait til you try on these. And I feel they have more room in the toe box too. Fit is perfect, no "breaking in" these sneaks - they are ready to go from the first step. My previous 2 pairs have lasted me over a year each with just one refresh on the inside soles each time.PLEASE BROOKS! Come out with more variety of colors on these and future models. I'd ever buy white or light shoes since these are my workout/run shoes not for lounging around in. Love the darker colors (this one was great - they look black on screen but actually appear more purple/grey/black in person I think, my 11s were blue). I'd even consider a brighter color as long as its in line with what I wear all of the time. I'd never buy the pink/green combo you currently have as they wouldn't match the majority of what I wear (blue red purple black grey).

I wore these shoes for the first time yesterday, and I must say, they are the first shoes I have ever worn that I cannot wait to take off when I returned home. So light, so roomy in the toe box yet snug through the rest of the foot bed. They have a fabulous arch support, and as a plantar fasciitis sufferer, I can attest to the support, and snugness of the heel fit. So flexible, no slippage, and a more natural gate than any other shoes I have had. Believer me.... I have tried them all, including many of the best rated ones in the annual Runners World magazine reviews. Granted, I have just started wearing them, but I am hopeful for the first time that I have finally found a shoe that I can live in. My daughter and her husband recommended these to me, and they were spot on. I hesitated about the price of this shoe, but now have no regrets and feel that they are well worth it.

Most comfortable running shoe I’ve bought in some time. I work in a warehouse on concrete floors and stand mostly all day. I’m a big ASICS fan and thought I’d try something new. You will not be disappointed. I have a narrow foot and high arch. These provide the right support and cushion for me. Very Happy!

These shoes actually didn’t work for me even though I really wanted them to. They made my feet fall asleep while running which is something I’ve never experienced. The company was absolutely amazing about the return though and I will not hesitate to buy another product from them in the future.

I run 3-4 times a week and have tried many shoes, especially after 3 knee surgeries! I am looking for supportive comfort that isn't heavy. These have a great cushiony feel and have worn really well, highly recommend them. Totally worth the money.

Straight out of the box, had an amazing run. Didn't even need to work them in. Fits true to size. It's my first pair of Brooks, won't be the last. Great seller, fast delivery.
