The taste of the chocolate

I bought the same item from Amazon 7th June 2022 for 5.99. It's now 10.99 nearly a 100% price rise. Yes it's great chocolate. But value for money hmmm. I particularly like this as not so sweet, unlike all chocolates that have too much sugar (a cheap way to bulk it up). But nearly a 100% increase is a no, no. So sadly they have now lost me purchasing this for the foreseeable future, until prices become more realistic.

This arrived today, I thought a bigger bar is useful to use bits at a time. Unfortunately it only has until end of Jan 22 as the use by date and it's 24/12/21 now so only 4 weeks. I suspect old-ish stock as sure chocolate should last longer than a month. Won't order from here again as need longer date. It arrived broken which isn't a problem and possibly carrier rather than company. They need to sort stock rotation out though.

Nice big bits for cooking.

It’s a huge amount of cooking chocolate. Usually the regular bars are not enough to get more than a few Krispy buns. Also this brand of cooking chocolate doesn’t go oily when melted like some other brands do.

I sought this out for my mother in law who has been reminiscing about some baking chocolate she used to use and hasn't seen for years. She was thrilled that I found it, shall look forward to lots of chocolate cake as it is a very big bar.
